Let me start off with saying the food was amazing. We had boil bags and the fried shrimp, both great. We went around 6:30pm and... seated like 5 minutes later. The music was a little loud but the service was good. The only bad thing was they were out of gatorbites so we didn't get to try them and they also got my friends drink wrong. The drink was so good though we didn't even mind.Keep in mind they automatically charge 15% gratuity which was fine and I tipped on top of that but something to be aware of.Would definitely go back. We were seated at 5pm and now it’s currently 5:17… horrible service. They need to hire people that want to work, and work... efficiently! As a food blogger this place isn’t even worth to put on my website. I came in with high expectations. At theentrance, the lady instead of greeting us she was talking to her friend very casually and took her order. Literally walked outon them so if you are looking for a good place to eat AVOID coming here. We usually give a very very VERY good tip! Today theyalready lost a customer. Disgusting. They just keep on passing by but oh if you look “rich” they will immediately attendyou. My husband and I are scientists and we spend around 200-300 on food plus the tip (which most of the time is 15%). We willnever come here again especially going to tell all of our families about this place, and on top of that they didn’t even cometo the table to offer us water. What a joke. Read more

RUDE STAFF, TERRIBLE SERVICE long story short we were there for 2 hours and sat for the first 1hour Why, you ask? Because we... review places honestly. Their servers are terrible and their food wasn't good enough for the pricing. We spent 210.00 with 4people and she couldn't even split the bill for us to pay separate. This place is 100% a joke. Probably the slowest service out of all restaurants I've been to in Oakbrook, and I've been to several dozen. Our waitress was... nice, but it took 20 min for her to take our order, then another 30 min to get our appetizer out. Finally, our crab boil cameout after over an hour. The place wasn't that packed when we were there. The only saving grace of this place is that the food isdecent - pretty much what you would expect from a crab boil. Portions are smaller than most crab boils I've been to. Superoverpriced for the portions. Additionally, I was just starving because we waited for over an hour to get our food. Oh yeah Iforgot - there was a $15 reservation fee that you don't get back. For groups of 5+ there is an included 20% tip that ismandatory. No wonder there is no sense of urgency here. This photo shows the appetizer that took 50 min to come out. There wereabout 10 pieces of fried calamari in it. Our favorite crab boil. The service is great and so is the food. The prices have just been revised and it seems to be even... better of a deal. You build your own meals but I believe it starts under $30 with crab included. You get to customize spicelevels too, we always go with medium house which is good. I recommend white rice on the side and adding corn/broccoli to yourbag! Read more

Well...let's just say this place was so good that the first time I went, I went again in the same week. #sprungonboilbags please... note it was my first boil bag experience. My friend, however, is from Miami and eats them all the time. She's all about thegreen mussels. They did not disappoint! Grab a holla bag!! You won't regret it! We didn't. Oh and it is great reheated...smh. Itook a friend for her first time the other day and she's been trying to convince me to go back since. Lol. If you likeshellfish, welcome to heaven... I placed the order online recently, and during a pick-up, I looked inside the food bag to check the order; however, the place... was dark couldn’t see everything in the bag. When I came home, find out that the order was not complete or what I ordered.Contacted the place to let them know that 1 pound of shrimp was missing. The person who answered the phone told me that nothingcould be done. Since people can eat the food and then call for missing food, this happened to them not the 1st time. I told herthat I had made a picture and could send it to them. But, she said once I leave the place, it is my problem. I want to warnpeople to take the gloves and dig in food per their request. Otherwise, you will be charged for an order that was not complete,plus she admitted over the phone that it is not the 1st time it happened with other client's as well. Good Luck! -1 client.
