My wife and I ate at Frankie's last night and it was excellent. We both ordered the Italian sub and it checked all the boxes for... us. Very tasty, perfectly seasoned, and very filling. The only thing I wish is that they got their bread from D'Amato's Bakery.The staff were very polite and friendly, and made you feel good about being there. While I was there I also picked up some hotItalian sausage, Fontinella cheese, and some homemade Soppressata. Can't wait to check that out , and we will definitely be backsoon. Frankie's Deli is my #1 choice for catering. Their chicken dishes always get rave reviews from my guests, whether it's chicken... limone or chicken parmigiana. The baked mostaccioli is so thick it resembles a lasagna dish. They warm it up right before yourequire it. And the service is like dealing with family. Very courteous. Love these guys! Discovered this place awhile back when they were featured on the Best Of for their meatball subs and they were located near... Yorktown Mall. They moved to Oakbrook and we 'rediscovered' them. Trying many different sandwiches which are always fresh andreasonably priced. The grocery has an assortment of deli meats and they might have the best capicolla. Fresh Italian sausageand salads and we recently tried their lasagna which was very good. Quality products all around. Read more
A popular and delicious place to eat. Spacious seating inside and out. A steady stream of patrons but above average counter... service and speed. Prices are very reasonable. I love this place. Everything I've tried here has been real good. The prices are really reasonable here too. They have great... paninis. Their subs are the bomb too. During the lunch rush they have a bunch of different varieties of subs already made but Ilike it when they make it to order for you. You can ask them to add anything to the premade ones as well. There is also alittle grocery store in there with a lot of nice olive oils and nice looking frozen pastas and whatnot. Read more
You can't beat this place for the quality of food you get to the price...they could charge so much more like other places but... they don't and that's why when I want a sub or anyone else in my office, we go there. I also shop there for some unique pasta,their sauces, and other great offers in their freezer section. Top notch! It's why it's always so busy! Read more
