I’m really surprised how authentic their food can be. Me and my hubby walked in thinking to get some American Chinese dishes... but the hostess handed me a separate menu of authentic dishes. I'm am here to tell you about my new favorite Chinese restaurant! I visited Yosemite National Park last week and on the way in I... saw the sign for this restaurant and so immediately made note. On my back home I stopped in about 30mins till closing(they haveno problem seating you up until 15mins till closing) Eva greeted me with the best smile and was very welcoming from thebeginning. Sat down and looked over the menu and decided on 3 dishes. (all prices are very affordable btw)Kung pao chickenspecial, eggplant in hot garlic sauce and a vegetable noodle dish. All portions were amazing and the taste was very deliciousand authentic! I am very picky with my Chinese food and this place sits high up on my list! If you are in the mood for some Chinese food after a long hike in Yosemite, this is the place to go. The location is prime,... service is great, and food is solid. And you will not leave hungry! Portions are unbelievably huge. I wouldn’t say this placeis authentic. It’s more of your typical take-out, American-style Chinese food. No complaints. We wanted something different than burger/bistro restaurants. This restaurant offers a nice change, with some tasty Chinese... cuisine in the region! Decently priced with a generous portion! Obviously it’s not comparable to big city restaurants, butit’s quite an authentic Chinese restaurant in the Yosemite area! Service was also super quick and friendly! We were 11 people and trying to find good food after a whole day in Yosemite National Park. The restaurant advertised that it... would close at 10pm but when we called them at 9:55pm they willingly agreed to serve us which was a savior! The staff was greatand accommodating, the food was really good too! The Sweet and Sour and Egg Flower soup was refreshing after a long day and theKung Pao Chicken, Fried rice and Chowmein were really good too. Orange chicken was fine so was the fried rice and noodles, it was when the bbq buns came out 25 mins later they were straight... out of a frozen box /microwave edition. Then the chicken and sticky rice smelled burnt and the protein inside was not chicken.Please see photos below looked like a sponge with black lining, they could have lied and said it was mushrooms that would havebeen believable not keep lying saying it was chicken.. Def not coming back. They wouldn’t refund the food we sent back whichwas a measly $6.50..still tipped but a prorated amount. The server wasn’t making the food. 2 stars ?? is generous to behonest.
