In town to visit Yosemite and my wife and I wanted a sandwich for dinner. Deli delicious truly lives up to their name. Our... sandwiches were absolutely amazing! They were short staffed so it did take a little while but it is totally worth the wait! Thestaff was super nice and the young man working the register was great! We stopped in oakhurst and wanted something other than fast food. We decided to stop here and give it a try. The sandwich was... much better than your subway or jimmy johns. We also tried the sweet potato fries and they were really good and had a nice crispto them. The kids grilled cheese could have been melted more for my daughter but she was happy being able to eat outside. Iwould recommend if you are looking for a better sandwich place other than subway. I went by this morning hoping for some Deli Deliciousness. This was at 9:30 and they were closed. I was willing to sit outside... until 10:00 when they opened, but the wonderful man inside ushered Us in, and made the most delectable sandwiches I have had.Thank you deli Delicious for opening early so that I can be treated to a healthy delicious lunch. We just happened to stop here when we wanted something healthier than a burger and needed something quick after a long drive to... visit Oakhurst. OMG, the sandwiches are amazing. We had the sourdough roll which is so soft - and the bread often "makes" agood sandwich for me. Had the "small" sandwich - which is a pretty good size and filled me up. I ordered the ham & turkey with"the works" which includes all the normal extras and mayo/mustard & oil/vinegar. I wasn't sure how those three condimentsworked together, but they were great! Everything was fresh! The service team were super-friendly and the owner/manager checkedto make sure everything was good. What a great sandwich and a great experience! Deli Delicious never disappoints. I ordered a small tuna on wheat and that's exactly what I got. It was good as always. The... customer service could use some improvement, no greeting like hello welcome, no thank you or you're welcome. I even heardanother customer say Thank you and the girl Itchel ?? had no response. Will I come back to this DD?? Probably not? Hopefully theowner sees this and makes improvements. Also, I did contact the owner and no response. My receipt does not show that I ordered a Caesar salad, but that is what I asked for and I was not served a true Caesar salad.... When I was at the front placing my order I had stated that I only wanted the dark part of the romaine in my salad. But theyended up giving me a different kind of salad that had sour dill pickles and other toppings that I did not want. I asked for amanager right away, but the lady named Nicole may have only been a supervisor. But she claimed to be the manager of thatlocation. All she had to do was chop up a little bit of the dark hearty part of the romaine lettuce, and not try to charge meall over again for a whole new $5 dollar salad! She raised her voice at me, rolled her eyes, and demanded that I pay twice! Shelacked basic human kindness because she was very argumentative. She even yelled across the room and made a scene because Iwalked away and would not accept the salad. She belittled me in front of the whole restaurant during a very busy time of theday. I regret bringing my guest to this location to have to witness horrible treatment from a supervisor. Also, I didn't order asandwich because their bread is dry the majority of the time. They are so chintzy with the meat as well. Does not match any ofthe pictures of the sandwich image portrayals. It is clear that the new owner is cutting back on the quality of thedeli-undelicious sandwiches. Read more
