I've been to a lot of Denny's over the past 30 years. I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. This was easily the worst... experience that I've had. I probably should have known when the sign was broken and the bench had holes in it. Our serverseemed fine, but I'm not sure if he really was. Another person seemed eager to help and did try to help. Despite that, our foodwas room temperature and didn't taste right. The taste would probably fall on the person cooking the food, but I'm not sure howbecause they aren't chefs. They should be getting the same food that every Denny's gets and cooking it. They aren't making thepancakes from scratch. They aren't breading the chicken fried steak, or shredding the hash browns, or anything else that a chefmight do. So how did they change the taste of the food? The temperature is less clear. Did the cook fail to cook our food allthe way? That scares me, and might explain part of why my family is taking turns in the bathroom. Or, did the server fail tobring our food when it was ready? We waited awhile for our food and it wasn't busy. Maybe our server took a break and our foodsat in the window for 10 minutes. We aren't local, so we wouldn't be back anyway, but maybe other visitors will see this andavoid gastrointestinal distress after a room temperature, distasteful meal. Read more
This was the WORST chain restaurant experience I ever have in my life. And it is my first time review food in Google but I... really want to share what I got here. We ate here only because we arrived a little late at our hotel which was right next to itand we just didn't want to drive out again for food (which was a huge mistake). We order ice tea but it was run out. Waitanother 25 min for our food but they were not even properly heat. The beef was kind of canned food which I totally expected. Butit seemed the "cook" just sort of mix several food materials and did not even heat it up enough. Even my nephew know how tomicrowave food to proper temperature. Taste of food was also a little odd. Besides, the fork and knife were clearly dirty eventhey were wrapped in napkins. Really doubt they were actually cleaned or not. There was barely any service from the waitress butthe least amount of tip option is 18%! Shame on you! My stomach did not feel uncomfortable for the whole night! My food was delivered cold & found out the cooks r new. Our server tried to make it rite. I would try them again & give them... another chance to improve. The parking is ample & the restrooms were clean. Read more
It?s been 24 hours since I ate my breakfast for dinner and I?m finally feeling better. I didn?t get food poisoning I just... ingested horrible food. Just for comparison I?ve eaten more MREs than a person should and they have never had this affect on me.My wife ordered online and when she arrived they hadn?t even started because of a shift change in the kitchen. The server wasthe best part. She lost it on the cooks and had multiple arguments. The funny thing was the cooks were arguing that they hadalready made the order and she was wrong. My pan cakes had burnt material on them and I couldn?t get the thought out of my headthat it was cigarette ash so I didn?t eat them. I probably received a quarter cup of hash browns. Maybe five bites. We tried toshare some mozzarella sticks and the taste of old burnt oil was very overwhelming yet they were the best item we received. Itwill probably be another four years before we gain the courage and ignorance to return. Read more
Updates 11/21/22...5 star as always! The girls are always friendly, and have good sense of humor! I see mamy ppl writing... unpleasant reviews, looks mostly like b.s.....You came to a DENNYS ppl, There are plenty of other options!! Im sure the Staffwouldn't care If you never came back! My visit went great! Fast, efficient, friendly, all food came to the table hot, andcooked perfect!
