I’m a regular at Ginza, I place $100 orders weekly with this place for my office. I ordered a role of sushi that tasted way... too fishy for my likeing and immediately called to get a replacement. The manager hung up on me after saying that it was fresh.I was completely shocked because I wasn’t arguing or being difficult. All I wanted was a new role. So I called back again andthru immediately hung up again! It’s a shame because I loved this place. But unfortunately I’ll never return. Read more

I have lived in this area for over a year now, and Ginza is always my go to sushi place! The food here is delicious. Whether you... are picking up to go, or sitting down and eating, you can expect great service and tasty food. I’ve had a variety of differentfood on the menu and I’ve never had any issues. The pricing is good and service is always quick. Definitely recommend to tryif you’re in the area. You will not be disappointed. Sat down to eat by myself this evening and they really went above andbeyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. Love this place! Read more

Ginza has one of the best and most affordable lunch specials in/near Ocean. You can't beat 3 sushi rolls, salad, and soup for... $13! The regular sushi rolls and the specialty rolls are very tasty, I haven't had anything here I don't like. I usually get myorder delivered, and the woman who does the deliveries is truly the sweetest person on Earth. The service here has been great! Read more

I've gone here on and off for years but when we went that woman was especially awesome. My daughter is very particular about her... sushi and this woman helped us get what she wanted in the most cost effective way we could. Also since we were there as SOON asthey opened we got the freshest rice they had (they make new rice during their shift but it was nice to be the first). Sheapologized because it was still being made, which was fine with us we weren't doing anything. But it didn't even take long, shewas just being thoughtful. I love their food, the freshness is real, the ambiance is chill, and the people are so friendly. Plustheir after dinner candies are enjoyable too. Definitely recommend it to a friend. Oh! But Wednesdays they're now closed (fyi)because everyone needs at least 1 day to themselves! (Just kidding, idk why they're closed but they are on Wednesdays now) Read more

Definitely the best sushi in the immediate area. Ginza is an eclectic stand alone restaurant inside a retail development.... There's more than enough parking for the restaurant. Although Japanese in fare, the outside decoration of Chinese Terra Cottasoldiers with Chinese music playing inside mismatches the ambience. Read more

We visited for the first time and had a pretty good experience until toward the end. The food was good. I liked that they... offer black rice instead of white rice in the maki rolls. The duck appetizer was flavorful and the chef special roll was reallygood, especially with the real crab meat. The hibachi meal was a lot of food and overall looked good; the shrimp was overcookedbut we didn't complain about it. Toward the end of the meal, I noticed 3 of the female staff pointing directly at our table. When they saw me notice them, one of them came over and asked if we were ok with them removing finished dishes from the table. I thought that was a little odd but let it slide. When we went up to pay (since no one came back to retrieve the payment) iswhen things went all the way left. One of the servers, a young lady who looked to be in high school or early in college, askedhow the service was. We responded that it was good. She responded with "REALLY?!!, are you sure!" with such surprise. I askedwhy she responded like that and she gave me a weird look with a smirk on her face. A lady who I presumed to be one of theowners was up there when this happened, on the phone. She never said a word. I told the young lady that her reply made menervous and I asked her again and she replied sarcastically with "you should come back more often." That did it for me. Iwon't be back. That was a strange experience. It's too bad because the food was really good. I don't play when it comes to myfood and all I can imagine is they either did something to our food or they were surprised that one of the many servers withwhom we interacted did a good job. Either way, I won't chance. One and done! Read more
