This restaurant is Monmouth County’s hidden gem. The chef is so creatively talented. And the staff is knowledgeable from the... fine wines to the amazing food. I have been coming here for years and one thing remains, consistency. Food is always delicious, and the staff always a pleasure. Read more

Absolutely Fantastic!! We got to this restaurant by chance in looking for a place to have a nice dinner..We were pleasantly... surprised!! From the appetizers to the dessert it was cooked to perfection!! Our compliments to the chef!! The appetizers werethe best we have had in awhile. The salad was just perfect and original!! Our main entree was salmon which we all ordered and itwas just right. The sauce and taste and decor were just tactful, tasty and just right! This was a great find!! Can't raveenough!! The signature apple crumb dessert was amazing and enough for 2 people! The chocolate flour less cake was spot on!! Iwould give it 7 stars if i could!! Thank you for making our experience worth the ride! Incidentally we had waited almost 1 hourat a close by restaurant and they had another 1 or so to wait....so we decided to look for a nearby restaurant and glad we did!!We will definitely return!!! Hands down delicious! Place was quaint, romantic and music was instrumental and verysoothing.....come & taste for yourself!! Thank you Chef Brian we had a wonderful experience at your restaurant and willcertainly return again!! Read more

Celebrating my birthday with my sisters, Carol and Mary. The Veal Chop Parm was delicious. It was huge. Still, I met the... challenge. No doggie bag for this 67 years young man. The service was very good. Must go again. Wallace L. Williams Read more

We would give this restaurant, its' owners and staff 10 stars if we could. My husband and I were taking a short trip in this... time of Covid to celebrate our upcoming 30th wedding anniversary. We were staying at a nearby hotel and picked Piccola Italiaalmost entirely by chance, although I had seen one line under a photo of the owners that this had been voted "best family runrestaurant in NJ". Thank you for a lovely evening out. We had the most gorgeous food in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, softbackground music and friendly, attentive staff. To our utter amazement and delight we were surprised with a signature dessertand glass of port to round off this experience. Thank you so much for a delightful evening and a fitting celebration.
