They have possibly one of the best pastas/rigatoni I have eaten. The tomato sauce is amazing and the rigatoni cooked to... perfection. Their cocktails are also smooth and impeccably prepared. An underwhelming meal from what is usually a consistent favorite. Melon salad was flavorless, pasta had more butter than... flavor, steak was hard to see under a pile of stewed tomatoes, etc. Must have been an off night. That said, service was great,as usual. Read more
Good pizza if you can afford it. Love fire cooked, but this time was undercooked. Make sure to bring a lunch or dinner spent... $50 a person left hungry. Still a beautiful spot to experience. Read more
I the reviews vary on A16, including within my own family, but I think their experiences have much more to do with the affects... of the pandemic (short staffing, trouble getting high quality staff, etc) rather than the longer term quality of theirrestaurant. I've been there a few times over the last few years. They changed their menu recently to focus more on exoticpizzas rather than entrees. Food: The pizzas are definitely good and should be tried. We also had (at the table) three of theirentrees: the Braised Cod; Roasted Chicken; and Shrimp Linguini. All three got great reviews. We ordered most of the deserts: the Bombolonis (stuffed donut holes) were excellent...but only came with 3; the Panna Cotta was also thoroughly enjoyed. Service: they were relatively fast and friendly. Not all meals were delivered at one time (the last was almost 10 mins fromthe first)...but again, short staffing could play a part in that. Atmosphere: It can get quite loud. I was in the middle seatat the table of six so I could hear most of the conversations...those on the ends could only hear/participate with people nextto or across from them. Read more
Honestly one of the best bar service experiences ever. Our bartender was so sweet and made us some delicious experimental... cocktails! Plus, the food was incredible--spring veg season done right with the grilled asparagus situation, plus a pizza sogood that we ate the entire thing before phones were ever considered. Cheers!! Everything here is five stars! From their wine selection, to their pizza selection, to their desserts and beverage selection,... you can’t go wrong with ordering here. All of their ingredients are fresh! And I love that they give you scissors to cut yourpizza with! Appetizers are also delicious, I love the fried olives. For a vegetarian they can always make something without meatas well. You can generally find parking on the street at a meter, or for free in the surrounding neighborhoods. Read more
