I stopped in for a burger before a show at the Fox Theatre. They managed to seat me on a busy Friday, which I appreciated. I... had a good Manhattan and the lamb and beef burger with house made crisps. The burger was the best I've had this year and thecrisps were fresh and tasty if a bit too salty. Friendly knowledgeable staff, who asked at the beginning if anyone had... any allergies and took care to have separate version made of the one dish that usually contains the allergy ingredient for theguest who needed it. Oakland restaurant week!! Ok for the service, atmosphere and food alone, this was an incredible deal! I could eat the ensalada... de col every day, best and most balanced salad I think I’ve ever had. The duck paella was delicious but super rich. I mighttry something new next time. The flan and patatas bravas were amazing too. Fantastic place for Spanish food - very authentic, flavorful, and cozy environment. The Patatas bravas and Paellas here tasted... better than the ones I had in Spain???? Delicious food and great service in a very cool environment. My wife and I went for their Flamenco night. The staff was super... helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and satisfying and a bit exotic relative to what we usually eat, which made themeal very special. The highlight was the Flamenco performance. It was an outstanding group, with a very talented guitarist, asinger with a perfect Flamenco voice, and two incredibly skilled and evocative dancers. It's so great that we can get a taste ofthis without traveling to Spain. We're looking forward to our next visit. Read more
