So, the place was nice and clean. The salad type bar was cool with the potato salad and salami and cheese was a delicious start.... The down side to my particular visit was,....every time the meat fellas came around with the steak/beef, they had visited theother tables first. So, it was like me and my lady got the leftovers. This was my first time trying this place which I have seen years ago but never got a chance to try it until today. The place was... nice but the food wasn’t what I expected. Being rodizio style steakhouse, I expected juicy well cooked steaks but all the meatI tried was well done and We had to ask for the less cooked meat which was kind of reddish but we prefer that than well done.Steak were cut pretty thin and the chicken was very dry as well as the pork. The rice, beans, salads were good. The appetizers:Pao de queijo and Polenta was good too. But for $56.95 it was not worth it and very pricey. Considering that there are otherrestaurants with more variety of food and steaks at the same price. I was disappointed at the food. I would prefer to pay $25for well cook piece of steak and not have the buffet version instead. Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant. Staffwas friendly and nice though. Read more
The food was good. Too bad the service was horrible! The Server didn’t serve us drinks or provide silverware even after we... asked two other employees for assistance. I eventually asked the bartender for what we needed after we had waited for over 15minutes for the server who never checked on us until we were ready to leave. We were really looking forward to dining here also.The service made our experience memorable in a negative manner. Read more
Was surprised there wasn’t a wait but it was a Wednesday. The place was extremely clean, but there was this weird smell at the... doorway? Regardless, the food was top notch. The meats are all perfection, and they come out practically back to back. We couldbarely keep up but wanted to try all the options! The appetizer/sides bar was nice quality, but slightly small selection. Thequality made up for it though, the lobster bisque was literally a creamy soup delight and the cheese selection from charcuterieoptions was high end options. INCREDIBLE! Salad bar is legit of you're a vegetarian/pescatarian tagging along in a group. The salmon is off the hook. The... selection of meat is amazing too, and they can bring it out more rare or more well done according to your liking. We are a fanof the steaks but the chicken, pork, and lamb options are also outstanding. Everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating.Perfect for a date night, work party, birthday, any occasion or no occasion! So glad they are back and the pandemic didn't takethem out. Bummed to see the negative reviews, we've always had such a good experience. Definitely better at peak hours though,I think. We had dinner here tonight and had a wonderful experience! The salad bar had offerings we haven't seen at other churrascarias -... Mediterranean tomato salad, artichoke salad with pesto - which were tasty. The meat was varied and cooked well and they offeredcuts we hadn't found elsewhere. The staff was friendly and we were able to practice our Portuguese with a woman from Brasil whoworks there. Very pleased with our decision to eat at Galeto! Read more
I decided to give them another try after three years and boy, was that a huge mistake. First of all, the hostess was nice and so... was the server at the very begining. We were a party of two, sat at a table for four. The six extra glasses and silverware werenever removed from the table. We ordered drinks and went to the salad bar, it was very limited in its offerings. We sat down andwaited more than 20 minutes for any meat offerings to come to the table. We never received the starters of cheese bread, yucaand plantains. The meats took over twenty minutes to arrive and were all well done and dry. It took the guys a long time tobring medium rare meats. They kept bringing cheap sausage and chicken. Everything was flavorless. Our server dissapeared, wewaited for drink refills more than an hour. A manager came by to ask how our bad experience was going, but at that point it wasover for us, so we stayed quiet. Thia place is a disaster and a wannabe Brazilian Steakhouse. Save your time and money and go toTexas de Brazil, Fogo de Chao or Espetus. You may pay more, but will have a better experience, better salad bar and bettermeats.
