One of the best brunch places I've been to -- hands down. You definitely get your bang for your buck and more. The food quality... and service were both ????????. I highly recommend the Savory French Toast from the brunch menu -- the poached eggs were cookedjust right and went perfectly with the mellow flavors from the ????mushrooms, ????butter, ????parmesan (?) cheese flakes, andtoasted ????bread. The bread was fresh, toasty, and not soggy (my pet peeve). I forget the name of our waiter but herprofessionalism, kindness, and consideration gave this review its 5th star???? Wait time was not bad at all! I definitely willtry the sweet French toast next time! ???? ------Update-------- Didn't try the sweet French Toast but the Smoked Salmon Benedictwas "ooo la laaaa!" There's something about smoked salmon, poached eggs, and parsley combined that just hits the spot. TheSavory French Toast is still my favorite dish though. As per usual, the staff, service, vibes, and food were all on point.???? Read more

I was expecting Grand Lake Kitchen to be awesome from what I'd heard, but going for the first time, I was completely blown... away. The brunch was out of this world. Fresh, delicious, and so fast! The vibes were off the charts and I can't wait to goback. Read more

My favorite brunch spot in Oakland 9-years running. Everything is delicious and the staff is so friendly. It’s right by the... lake. I recommend going on a Saturday then hitting up the Saturday market near the freeway. Read more

The breads in every dish are solid. I finished my food then moved on to chomp my friends’ dishes (which they weren’t too... happy about). Definitely come here for brunch any time. Read more

To go review: the risotto had 4 decent sized scallops and cooked a little more than I like. Flavorful = salty - very oily /... fatty with butter and olive oil. Very rich. The hamburger sub’d for a gluten free bun - came back as a two slices of toast. Soit turned into a sandwich. Everything had a generous serving of salt. Read more

Sourdough French Toast? I was very skeptical but gosh it lived up to it's reputation! It had right amount of sweetness and was... chewy (I was expecting it to be hard) Pork polenta was creamy and delicious. Could have had more pork on it though. Thecocktails were all great! We had white linen, cypress and Bellini. Recommend all of them! They had Nosh donuts, which I didn'tget to try this time, but on my list for next time. Service was good. We had asked for scrambled instead of poached eggs butended up with poached anyway. We were hungry by the time it came so didn't bother sending it back. Read more

Update: Stopped by for Sunday brunch. Had a 20-30 minute wait. Savory french toast was a pleasant surprise. White peach bellini... was refreshing. Food came out decently quick. Falafel was a bit try. Burrata was a bit too salty. Service was great. Drinkswere strong. Read more
