Always loved it! Too hot to eat right away since everything is made to order but, I don't live locally and noticed they walk in... and order the gumbo. Not the chicken, not the fish, just gumbo. I have to try that next. Read more
While this place is fairly out of my way, if it were closer I'd be going there all the time. I got chicken, fries, toast,... hushpuppies, and a slice of cake. Chicken was a solid 10/10, fries and toast were surprisingly good, and the hushpuppies wereliterally the best I've ever had. Cake was pretty good too, but I went there for a different brand of cake, so I have anunfairly lower view of it. I can recommend the special sauce, too, stuff is great, with just the right amount of spice. Read more
On my Delivery route , I stopped by and ordered a Red Snapper combo plate , The Fried fish was perfectly cooked and the Fries... were Hot and crispy. Service was quick and easy. I will be looking forward to coming back ???? Read more

Absolutely the best food! First time I tried gumbo and thought I wouldn?t like gumbo and it was so good. Their hush puppies were... amazing the best I have ever had the jumbo shrimp and scallops were amazing as well the lemonade was really good too. This foodwas absolutely amazing I recommend it everyone and the service there is good and the the owner is a really nice personable guy.We have been there now 2 weeks in a row very reasonably priced as well Read more
Food was off da hook!I had Sole which was fried and seasoned perfectly with collard greens and jambalaya. Staff were great and... food was delicious! Not a lot of area for dining in but place was clean. Decent prices well worth my money! Read more
We always order fish, chicken, and fry combo plate from here when we're in the area. Both are tasty & cooked well but tend to... lack consistency in the seasoning. I think they forget to put it on there sometimes. The neighborhood isn't great, but hold yourhead up, don't freakin stare, keep your mouth shut, and don't worry about what the folks outside are doing. You're there for thefood not the madness!????
