Do not order from this store while we're still in a pandemic. Requested contactless delivery. Driver refused to leave the order... until someone came outside. Driver left part of someone else's order, then called to have us meet him outside again to returnit. Called the store to let them know that someone's order had been in our possession, figured they would not want crosscontaminated deliveries made in the middle of a global pandemic - she claimed he only had our order when he left the store. I'd give it zero stars honestly. Ordered pizza and wings it came late. Was super cold and doughy. Took one bite and realized... that it wasn't cooked thoroughly. I called and was put on hold for 20mins then hung up on. Then when the lady finally picked upagain she was by far the rudest person I've ever come in contact with. No remorse at all, then told me it wasn't their fault,manager wasn't there and hung up on me again. Called back and someone else answered and took my information and told me hermanager would call me back. This was at 7pm its now close to midnight so it's safe to say I won't get a call back today. My husband and I are from Colorado, spending the weekend in Oakland. We don't have a Pizza Guy's out there. It was late night we... were hungry but too tired to go anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised with the service faster than the original 45 min wait timefor delivery. The pizza was absolutely delicious and perfect. We also ordered there cinnamon twists I haven't had a churro thisgood in at least 10 years. Kudos to you Pizza Guy's you now have new customers for life. I would happily reccomend anyonelooking for something new and delicious to give them a try, I promise you won't regret it. Read more
Quality has gone way downhill. I ordered the thin crust; I got regular. Ordered extra cheese; got hardly any at all. Gave... step-by-step directions to my apartment, but the delivery guy called from the street, and when I got out there, he was half ablock away. To top it all off, the pizza wasn't even hot, and I live a measly 2 miles from their location! I'll be going toStraw Hat or Mountain Mike's from now on. I live in San Francisco, however last Friday night I was in Oakland visiting a friend. We decided to order a pizza but it was... late at night. The closest and only place available was this particular pizza place. So we placed an order online, whichconsisted of a medium Pizza in a 2 L bottle of Orange Crush. And we charged it to my personal debit card. The total came to$30.51! A few minutes later we received a phone call saying that there was a problem with the credit card and if we still wantedthe order we had to pay cash oh, so we were hungry and agreed to pay cash. Later that night I checked my transactions and foundout that even though we paid the driver $30.51 in cash, my debit card had still been charged! We called the pizza place andwe're told that they were sorry, and would credit my account in 24 hours. I actually waited 48 hours, and still no creditappeared. I called the pizza place back and was told that they can do anything about it, and I was to call my bank. I arguedwith them saying I didn't give the bank $30.51, why should they have to pay me back? I gave you guys the money, therefore youguys need to pay me back. I asked if I can come to the store and just collect my cash since the charge had already gone throughon my account, they said no. So I called my bank on Monday and I was told that if they put in for a credit oh, it probablywouldn't have shown until Monday the same day. I was told to wait and if I didn't see credit, to call them back on Tuesday.Tuesday came and still no credit appeared. So I went ahead and call the pizza place back one more time and spoke with adifferent person who claimed she was the manager, and I told her what had happened and she said she would look into it and callme back. I waited all day she never called me back. So the next day I called my bank and I disputed the charges after waitingabout 45 minutes on hold each time I call my bank, which drives me nuts.
