RATTOS has been a local lunch stable for many many meals .the sandwiches never disappointed me .Any they full you up at a fair... price. Absolutely one of the best cold cut deli sandwich places around. Not only that but the staff here is absolutely minted. I've... been coming here for so so long with my family it's not even funny. They also offer their own crafted olive oil and balsamicvinegars. You can buy meat by the pound, cheese by the pound, pre-made fruit salads, and chicken or tuna salad. The normal level of expensive for downtown Oakland. But all in all, a tasty Sammy. Very unique and distinct flavors making the... price justified for a unique experience of you take that route. I'm planning on going again and trying other unique flavors. Read more
Got 2 sandwiches to go for a double header at the coliseum. So much better than the stadium food. Got the grilled ham and swiss... and the grilled serrano and machengo. They held up perfectly throughout the day. Bread stayed crispy and the meats and cheeseswere delicious. Read more
This place is excellent. They have great rolls for their sandwiches, and their meats are always decent. Theyre also lightning... fast with the orders, even when theyre busy. My only kvetch is that since the pandemic theyve cut their hours, even on weekends.It was kinda nice being able to grab a sandwich in the late afternoon.
