Original Post: Ive traveled all... over Asia and tried everything on this menu, and hands down I’ve have never had better Khao Soi than the one here. Ask yourhost about it! this curry has fried wonton noodles in a special curry paste fried with coconut milk and it can be made withchicken on the bone or vegetarian. The broth is hearty and packed with flavor and the thick rice noodles are divine and perfect!My partner and I come often that we bring all of our friends here! Everyone is amazed because they think it’s the best Thaidish they’ve ever had! *the second best is their roti appetizer :) anyways I hope you try this noodle curry dish because thebroth doesn’t disappoint! We love coming here for their Happy Hour, which is 4:30-6:00 everyday. We are able to get enough food (and drink) that ends up... being enough for a whole meal. We talk to the waiter to find which items are on the Happy Hour Menu, and go fromthere. Tonight we had four appetizers that we shared. And we each had an alcoholic drink. We LOVE Soi4!! The mustard leaf wraps represent everything we love about Thai food -- spicy, sweet, salty, overwhelming with... delicious flavor! We also love the Giow Tod -- shrimp and pork dumplings with the best ever garlic and ginger dipping sauce. Ofcourse, Pad Thai is awesome, but we also love the grilled skirt steak salad, green curry veg, the fish special (changesfrequently; steamed in a banana leaf), and the eggplant. The fiery southern pork was delicious, very spicy but tasted really good. The chive pot-stickers were okay, not much flavor.
Wow! The daily line-caught fish dish is a great surprise!! The Brussels sprouts, papaya salad and roti were also very... good! (Coconut soup is a little too sweet, mango sticky rice is ok) but I would 100% return just for their fish dishes!Definitely our one of best Thai food restaurants in the bay area now! Read more
