Stopped in for lunch on a rainy Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our server was... friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. We ordered a large Cesar salad and large Zachary'sspecial and it was perfect for 4 adults. The salad had a beautiful tangy dressing with generous slices of parmesean and large,homemade bread croutons. The pizza was amazing! Best deep dish pizza in the bay with wonderful flavor, gooey cheese and aperfect blend of sausage, peppers and mushrooms - even the one who doesn't care for mushrooms loved the pizza! Read more
First time I've been to Zachary's Chicago Pizza. Awesome atmosphere and superb customer service. We got the Zachary's Special... and and it was extremely tasty. There are a lot more things I wanna try on their menu so I will be back. Highly recommended! Read more
Always an Oakland staple for me. The college Ava is still a little better, however Grans is convenient. Friendly staff. Ordered... online and picked up easy. LOVE the Caesar salad. Best Caesar dressing still. Read more

I had my reservations when I first thought of Chicago style pizza in California. They were quickly a thing of the past. We split... a small salad, deep dish and regular crust pizza. Not only was everything really well made, but the staff was very friendly andattentive. I couldn't have asked for a better meal on my way out of California. Thanks for the experience! Read more
So excited Zachary's opened this location on Grand. Now I can take a 15mins walk there instead of a +10mins drive over to the... College Ave location :) Update 9/29/21, just had lunch with my brother at the Grand location and it was GREAT - very friendlystaff, place was clean and cozy. Def going here from now on - sweet not having to go 2x the distance to the College Avelocation :D We called about 25mins before getting there and they were great to start baking a large deep dish for us, so it wasbasically ready out of the oven by the time we sat down! I've had deep dish pizzas before, at other restaurants in CA and inthe 'home' of deep dish pizza Chicago, and Zachary's is still my fav! Seriously, don't waste your time and money on anythingbut the deep dish style here - best is the chicken basil (the "Chicken Special"). Glad they are doing Happy Hour specials onthe weekdays. So delicious!!!! Friend took me here and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Ordered the bbq chicken with their sauce on the top.... Guy working there was super nice, even cut and served the slices. Wait wasn't too bad since they were pretty empty but he didmention it took a while. I could only do a slice. The half of the second induced the food coma. I cannot wait to go back! Read more
Ordered a deep dish veggie supreme. The pizza flavors were good, but the dough was seriously undercooked. I ordered it take out... and didn?t realize until I got home. Bummer because I?ve had great deep dish pizza from these folks at their College and SanPablo locations. Leave it in the oven a bit longer! Read more
