Can't say enough about our recent rehersal dinner for our son & daughter-in law on 9/16/22. Kim, Regina and Lucy were fabulous... and were so extremely accommodating. I attended a private luncheon the food is excellent and the staff was amazing under a rush of near 100 people. I loved how happy... the servers were, as they answered every request. This is a hands on family restaurant they care. Read more
Inside was charming and the staff was awesome and accommodating. What it did lack was atmosphere thus the 3 stars. Definitely... an older crowd vibe definitely not for young at heart. Actually quite “stuffy” and definitely extremely quiet which I amnot. I like to have fun but it was extremely subdued. Food was not as good as I hoped. Definitely not for me. Sitting here right now i was hoping the food would live up to the reviews. Sadly i am so disappointed the food is below par. I... could have cooked better. I feel like a starter crew made this. I dont know what went wrong. The pictures speaker forthemselves. I honestly dont know what happened because this is not the quality i expected. The only thing is their own seltzer.I do not recommend here. The prices aren’t accurate because i was charged two dollars more for cake then posted. I was chargedfor table water as well. Ive been around reviewing restaurants for awhile i know a good one when i see one. A little rudehowever the server checked to see if the money was in the while it was on the table. Came here for the first time tonight for dinner with a party of four, they offer valet parking which was great. When we got... inside we we’re greeted right away by the host and seated,the dinner was amazing, our waiter knew all of the specials andalways kept our drinks fresh, the owner is very friendly and courteous and checked on us several times, we ordered severalappetizers and four main courses, all of the food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the blue point oysters, new zland musselsand fried calamari for appitizers all were delicious. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Prices are very responsible. Wehad the pleasure of meeting the chef who was very nice as well as the owner and his wife.Will definitely be back. Read more
We came here on a Saturday night after realizing reservations were needed at Harvest & Ale across the street and there was no... tables available and we needed a quick other option. I was surprised at the pricing for the wine list but again, we did not doour research before coming here and the taste of the food made up for the wine list price anyway. Starting from the bread, itwas delicious and seemed home made. Not that typical italian bread at some places. Butter I think was homemade which is fine butit lacked the taste you would get from regular butter. Bruschetta served with the bread was very good and tasty. Fried calamariwas good and so was the cold antipasto with meats and cheeses. The olives on this were salty though. I got the gnocchi withtomato basil sauce. The sauce was perfectly salted and was not bland at all. The gnocchi were a little too soft for my liking(some were almost creamy inside but harder on the outside) which goes to show they are home made but I think would benefit frommaybe adding more flour in the initial dough mixture used to make them. Other than that, I really enjoyed them. My dad got theRisotto futti di bosco which essentially was a mushroom risotto. He loved it. Our other guest got Tartufo ravioli. The sauce wasdelicious but we could not tell 'where' the Tartufo in the dish was. Maybe inside the sauce? I have seen it grated or shavedonto pasta dishes before. For dessert, the Tiramisu and Italian Cheesecake I would 10/10 recommend. I would definitely comeback to try the rest of the menu! Read more
