Food was very good as well as the service! This Denny's just isn't as clean as some I've been in hence it got four stars instead... of five. I got the Bacon Avocado Burger & was great! Tonight, we went with our family to eat there. It was only 8:20 when we were told they were too busy in the last hour, that they... would not let us dine in. They said they only had two servers and those servers were too busy (with only 4 people in the diningroom). I then left and called the manager who was on duty. I had a few simple questions on why we were told we could not eatthere, when they were still open for another 40 minutes. He was extremely rude and proceeded to say ?Oh Wow!? And tell me thatthe servers were busy thirty minutes prior to us coming in and he decided to shut the dining room down because those two serverswere just to busy. I then asked why they couldn?t let us 5 sit there to eat our meal. I then explained that I was also a serverand have managed the dining rooms before and that I thought it was unfair to those who drove twenty minutes out of our way withour children. He said ?well it was my decision to close the dining room?. I asked him if there was a person or phone number forcorporate that I could call because it was unfair.. he then got angry and told me that I could find the number on my own andproceeded to hang up on me. Very attentive cashier/server. I ordered takeout strawberry cheesecake and coffee. With an aarp discount, $6.49. The coffee had... a wonderful aroma, but was weak. The strawberry cheesecake had delicious fresh strawberries, but the cheesecake, while nicelyplated and boxed, was clearly frozen and defrosted with a slight chemical, non-dairy taste.
