I wish I could give Mama Tigre a better rating. Was so looking forward to it. Ambience and presentation is fabulous. Food... falls a bit short. Was expecting Mexican Indian fusion. Mostly Mexican. Had the tikka tacos. Too much char. Almost burnt. Thefajitas fell short in flavor. Food was too heavy. I?ll be back for another go around with a different menu selection. We were visiting family from out of town and they decided to bring us here for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant looked... pretty full but our party of 4 got seated right away. The food and drinks were both delicious. The Mexican-Indian fusion workedwell in many ways. The masala sauce on the enchiladas was delicious. The 3 different tacos and masala fries were also great. Wewill have to come back to try other entrees from the menu the next time we're back in the DC area. Read more
The Indian curry base on any item on their menu is way superior than Indian restaurants around here. It hits all the right... notes. The main course quantity is a little much if you order appetizers. So I would recommend sharing if you don't want to taketo-go boxes. Read more
Wow! This place was amazing. I have had plenty of latin-asian fusion but their food took it to a whole different level.... Everything on the menu looked great but I had to try the items with the masala queso sauce and nothing disappointed. Theirnachos and burritos were amazing, and every bite was mouth-watering with the smokey and savory queso sauce. All the otheringredients were fresh and delicious too. We went there for lunch for the first time. The service was pretty good and nice. Our server answered all our queries patiently... and gave enough time to decide menu for big group. The food was excellent and tasty. They had good options for vegetarian mealstoo. I would definitely recommend and visit again whenever in the area. Read more

SO good! I had no idea Indian-Mexican food could be a thing, but this was *delicious.* Especially loved the appetizer nachos,... jambalaya, and lamb birra. Dining room was full and loud, but very fun and festive. It?s a drive from us, but we?ll be back andbringing friends! Read more
