My family loves this place. We always get fresh sushi and the people there are so nice to us when we pick up. It does get busy... but we order early to account for it. High volume means it stays fresh. Will continue to order from this place. Great qualitysushi and customer service. Read more
After waiting an hour for delivery (Uber eats sucks), we were so disappointed. Smelly, inedible tuna and salmon. Even the... chicken teriyaki was inedible. It was so bad, we actually packaged it up and drove back to the restaurant to tell them while theboys went to pick us up burgers.This place came recommended to us which made it even sadder. Upon returning the platter and thechicken, the woman actually argued with us for 30 mins telling us how fresh it was. Since everyone spit it out after their firstpiece, it certainly was not fresh. It was so bad that none of us will be eating sushi from anywhere for the rest of 2022. Whenwe are finally over that taste (2023), we won’t be going to Ami…. Ever again. ???? Read more
Pleasantly surprised by the sushi and tempura. I would definitely go back. Three (large) rolls and two appetizers came to $63... including tip and tax. We had a private booth, which was nice, so no worries about having to take our masks off to eat. Serverwas kind enough to rush our order because we were in a hurry. Read more
Nice place to eat lunch, maybe a low key dinner. Slightly higher than average prices for a sushi restaurant, with slightly... better than average food quality. Plenty to choose from on the menu, and nice semi private booths to sit in. Staff were verynice, polite and helpful. Read more
Excellent costumer services. The store is follow the COVID health protocol. You need to wear ???? mask all the time. You need to... be full vaccine in other to seat at the restaurant. The store is well located the go train and the bus transportation are infront of the restaurant. The sushi ???? was delicious ???? and fresh. Definitely we back again! Read more

Apart from the friendly staff. Their food is average, nothing very special, from all what I’ve ordered only the Dynamite Rolls... stand out. The rest is edible and similar to any off the shelf sushi you can get in any store. The music is horrible and wasloud but that’s only a personal choice. Honestly, I’ll try some other Sushi places in Oakville and come to visit my commentin future. I give it 3 out of 5 as the staff are super friendly. Read more
Not very impressed. Spent a lot of money on takeout food to celebrate a birthday, (averaged $35 per person) Taste was ok,... nothing special. But portions and quality of rolls were not as good as in the past. The bulgogi portion was very very small insize, and did not come with rice. Other restaurants include free rice with that dish, and the portion is double in size. Forbeing a long time customer, and spending so much money, they could have offered to include the steamed rice ( valued around $2)for free. We were all still hungry after eating our meal. Very expensive and not worth the price. We will not be ordering fromAmi Sushi again. Sorry you have lost a customer. In the future, we will order from Wasabi and Teriyaki instead, not too far awayfrom Ami Sushi, they give bigger portions, have great quality, much cheaper, 10% off with cash payment, AND they give freespring rolls with our order!
