Delicious desserts, lovely staff, great ambiance.
Casa Romana is a great place if you are into delicious cakes made from scratch. We ordered our baptism cake here and it was not... only absolutely beautiful, but delicious as well. Carmen is amazing : she went above and beyond to offer us the combination wewanted in terms of flavor and design. We changed the size a few days before and she adjusted right away. Not only amazing homemade cakes, European style, but great service as well. Thank you, Carmen, for everything! Everybody loved the cake. It looked socute that I did not want to cut it and ruin it :) but oh my God when we did, it was DELICIOUS! We are getting our next orderready, as your cakes are addictive :) Read more
What an adorable little cafe! When trying cappuccinos or lattes, I always look for that authentic re-creation of coffee in... Italy. This location is one of the closest onss! We both loved the latte and cappuccino we got. The taste was fantastic! Iwould go out of my way to have coffee here once the cute indoor seating is open. The price is incredible for a handcraftedbeverage. We did not try the pastry or bread offerings. I expect I will at my next visit as this cafe is definitely one tobecome a regular spot for me. Lovely cozy cafe! When I entered I just wondered how lovely it would be if the seating was available. Anyways they are open only... 2 days a week ( during lockdown). We went on a Saturday and they were open but had limited options to choose from. Thesandwiches were not available. Latte and cappuccino was good. They did have the chicken schnitzel for a $1.50 and was small andtasted good. We took a couple of items from the dessert- overall seemed a little pricey but good taste. Read more
Very nice and cozy little place with it's own charm. Staff is very friendly and will cater as well to specific request. Their... main focus is on deserts but they have expanded also into other traditional Romanian foods like cabbage rolls and potato salad.Accesible entrance and washroom. Free parking. Read more
Beautiful, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere. There is a very European inspired feel, the staff is very friendly and willing... to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The desserts are always fantastic quality and stunningly presented. Thepastries are fresh, and the bread is the best I've ever had. The menu offers breakfast and lunch options such as paninis andsoups, beautifully presented crepes, and a various selection of desserts. They also offer beautifully crafted drinks from adetailed, lengthy menu. Very impressive for a bakery/ cafe that's only been open for a couple months! Read more
Very good and fresh cakes, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Elegant place for lunch, a coffee and slice of cake with... girlfriends. You can order special cakes and sweets, even traditional Romanian food. My order was ready waiting for me,authentic Romanian sweet bread. I will definitely go there again and order more products from them. Read more
Great local bakery and cafe, delicious desserts and bread, love it. Top quality coffee and creeps at least they were before... lockdowns. 4 stars because of the working hours still only 2 days a week! Come on guys, please get back to your normal schedulebefore COVID! Read more
