We had an excellent time at Ritorno's. The service was excellent (our waiter was very kind and patient) and the food was hot and... delicious. Sauces were tight and the salt levels correct. If you're looking for a nice spot to relax and enjoy some tastyItalian cuisine I definitely recommend this restaurant. We ordered many dishes and the portions were also perfect. A cute little gem in Oakville! We were craving some Italian food but could’t go too far cause of work, so we decided to check... out Ritorno and were not disappointed! The food was good, the area was classy and had a cute outdoor patio, and the service wasamazing! Everyone was super welcoming and kind, the waiter bought our food SO QUICK! And it was all delicious! We ordered theLinguine Pescatore and the Penne Formaggio! Both were absolutely delish! Also- this place serves HALAL chicken which is a hugeplus! It’s such a cozy and warm atmosphere here with a Nonna Wall dedicated to all grandmothers. Bring a framed photo of yourNonna and they will hang it on the wall and the next day, they will donate meals to the food bank or frontline workers. Nowthat’s a wonderful thing. ___ They have won several accolades by Oakville Beavers Readers Choice 2021…a Diamond for the BestItalian Restaurant, Best Takeout and Best Pasta. And also awarded for the Best Ambiance and Best Service!! ___ The food istasty since Owner and Chef Julia makes everything from scratch. One of my faves has to be the Meatballs and their thin crustMargherita pizza. For pastas, try the Linguini Pescatore, Penne Formaggio in Rose and handmade Gnocchi. Visited this restaurant for some homemade Italian cuisine, and that’s exactly what we received. The homemade gnocchi we... ordered tasted like clouds, and the Gorgonzola sauce was rich in flavour. If you’re looking to go somewhere wholesome andauthentic, this is the place. Their customer service is outstanding; all staff was very friendly, and our server Sam wasdelightful! We went to Ritorno for the first time with my son. Everything fresh. A true sign of a real italian restaurant is that serves... fresh made pasta. Food quality was very high. This is a Take Out Order rating. I ordered dinner from Ritorno last night. I placed my order through Uber Eats as I was unable... to go collect it myself. I ordered the Penne Formaggio, Nonna’s 6 Layer Lasagna & Flourless Chocolate Cake. Everything was sotasty. We even got a few pieces of bread that my kids loved. The portion sizes were great, the containers were filled. The foodwas hot and freshly made and everything smelled yummy. I must say I was impressed with the portion size for the cake. I am still in the restaurant, excited for our dessert to arrive, as I write this. When we walked in for our reservation, we were... greeted by the owner, Julia, who made sure our table was ready for us. Our server Jack was such a delight throughout ourevening, and was so attentive and prompt. The food was amazing - both impressive and comfortable, and the energy in therestaurant was just so pleasant. You could really tell that people were enjoying their experiences, and the staff all had smileson their faces and worked well as a team. Julia was often seen back and forth between the dining room and the kitchen. I caughta moment where she came out, scanned the dining room briefly, and had such a proud smile on her face.
