We recently had a ? celebration of life? for a friend who had passed away. The 6th Line pub was the perfect venue! The owners... and staff were exceptional and went to great lengths to ensure all the necessary logistics and details were in place so everyonehad a wonderful time! Service was very professional and friendly. Would certainly highly recommend if you are looking for aspecial place to have a mid/ large sized gathering in a casual yet comfortable environment. The place is very clean including the washrooms our server was nice and polite, unfortunately she was the only server there... doing the bar, patio and inside tables. So our service was not great. I don't blame her (the server), I blame her boss/manager,maybe owner. This person was more interested in dancing and having a good time then taking care of customers. She was actually abit rude to us. It would have been ok for her to have some fun, I get it but not at its busy time and only one staff memberbeing run off her feet. As for my meal, i had the fish and chips, batter was well over cooked and way to crunchy. Do I recommend it NO. This was my first time there, will I go again I don't think so. If you like wing are are in the Oakville area this place might be for you! Friendly folks, tasty food and cold beer! On... Tuesday they have a deal on wings! If you need a cold beer and good food. This neighborhood gem is priceless. The owner and staff are just incredibly beautiful... people. The clientele is the neighborhood from all over and there is no pretentions. GREAT place to watch a game (I watchedSuperbowl here with friends, it was a great crowd and great atmosphere). Best chicken wings in the GTA! Very good, fast service and a nice pub atmosphere. They have an excellent 30 wing & pitcher of... draft beer combo. The wings were so good that I ordered some to go before we left. Highly recommend - will definitely comeagain. Read more
