Not many people when we were seated. Food was pretty good. Steak was cooked nicely but could use a tad more seasoning. The fries... and Mac and cheese side were decent! Our server was nice. We got cutlery and side plates after the food was brought to ourtable. I wanted to get a drink refill and got it at the end of the meal. I think they got slammed all at once. It eventually gotpretty busy. Nice atmosphere. The bar stool I was sitting in was really wobbly and I forgot to mention it to theserver. Definitely coming back! Love love love the Cauliflower bites! Great drizzle and dipping sauce. The portion is big enoughfor 4 people to enjoy. Overall, excited to try other things on the menu. Read more

Chicken Buffalo Poutine was very good. A bit more spicy than usual, but delicious. Service good and fast (not too many people... at the moment I believe cause was afternoon). Will go back to try something different. Read more
We love this little pub. We go here every Friday night for a date night when our son is at basketball. We ought have one hour... and they are so quick with their service. Their new appetizers menu is awesome. We have tried almost everything on it. Read more
Ordered 3rd degrees burn + forty creek flavoured wings. Seeing half portions of both of these in 1 box here. I?ll start with... the good news. Wing size and quality was actually decent. No particular complaints there. The 3rd degree burn must have been amistake on their part. If not it?s some sort of prank. There was almost no sauce on it. But I thought maybe they?ve donesomething unique here and the flavour is there even though it doesn?t show. Turned out to be just salt pepper style. Nothingspicy at all. The forty creek on the other hand was fine. It resembled what they were striving for there. Some form of bbqtaste. But I still don?t understand what happened with the 3rd degree burn. I arrived at the Stout Monk, by chance as Holden and I could not decide where to go for dinner to celebrate his new job... promotion. After driving around for a bit we found ourselves in the plaza at Neyagawa and Highway 5. Holden proclaimed that hehad been advised of the Stout Monk by our other friend Matt. I did some quick research and came to the conclusion that I wouldbe satisfied as a vegan. We parked the car and went in, looking forward to trying the menu. We also noted that out friend Justinrecently bought an apartment that is being built across the street. Upon entry we were seated at a table with plain view of twoTV screens, both playing the Leafs game. This was absolutely critical. I was also delighted to see other groups seated around uswho were also cheering for the leafs. We began by ordering a beer each. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of beers,and I ordered the Cameron's Jurassic and then the Hop Valley Bubble Stash. I always enjoy a heavy beer and these were eachenjoyed thoroughly. I ordered the Beyond Meat Burger with fries and a side garden salad. I was quite hungry when I ordered, butI was shocked when my meal arrived and saw the helping of fries accompanying the burger. I barely managed to finish my meal,feeling utterly satisfied. I must again commend the Stout Monk for giving a generous portion of French fries. The burger wasquite tasty as well. I am grateful that the stout monk has a vegan option, I urge them to provide more plant based dishes. Read more
Came here for the first time with a friend. We arrived late at night and were accomodated to the outside patio. Indoor and... outdoor seating is available. Staff was friendly and nice. We ordered the the pierogie flatbread, the cauliflower wings andchurros and ice cream for dessert. Staff was very accomodating with mishaps and the cauliflower wings were so delicious andfried to perfection with the thai sauce. Was overall happy with the customer service and food and would be interested in tryingother options. Read more
Great local bar. Shawn makes the best old fashion in town. Highly recommended
