Picked up a to-go order here on Saturday afternoon. We hadn?t been in before but discovered the ordering system is somewhere... in-between a fast food place and a sit down restaurant. Food was good but even in at a slow time of day it took 20 minutes ofwaiting to get it. Definitely order in advance online if you want to speed up the process. There is not a traditionaldrive-thru and order line either, just a drive-thru pick up line for food you preordered online. And, don?t waste your timedownloading the app. I did, then, once I created an account and logged on it just sent me to their website to order for theOakwood location anyway. At this point, we just went inside to order. Staff were friendly and the restaurant is cuter than mostdine-in fast food places - farmhouse chic with little seasonal bouquets on some tables. So how was the food though? VERY tasty.Zaxby?s better watch out because our tenders were so juicy and delicious!! The Magoo sauce is similar to Zax sauce but a littlemilder. I really loved the sweet and spicy sauce too - like a sweet chili with just the right kick. My husband is a fan of thegarlic parmesan. Good good! Enjoyed the tenders salad and crinkle fries and Texas toast. I loved that it wasn?t too salty, but some said it was... much more flavorful than zaxbys but I think Z is saltier usually. I?m torn because I like both. Just visit both often and youcan joke that you?re not eating at the same less healthy place. Only thing I noticed was Hueys is a little more tight withtheir sauces and per my pic they charged me .60 for the same sauce my kid and wife had and neither had much oftheirs???????????. Don?t ask for 2 different sauces w your salad you?ll get an up charge even though they give you 2 2ozcups(vinaigrette was good) already. They had grilled option for dairy free child fyi. I?m not sorry to say that this location has stolen my business from Zaxby?s! Absolutely wonderful service and the people are... very focused on making sure you are enjoying your food and don?t need anything. As soon as they see your drink getting low,they?ll be asking if you need a refill. The price is amazing for the service you receive! Read more

I decided to finally dl the app and try this place as I was told it is better than Zaxbys. Got a mixed tenders plate for 1.... First and last visit. The tenders were anything but. Dry and puny. Their fries are over seasoned, special sauce essentiallytastes like mayo and the lemon pepper sauce tastes like you're eating straight from a cup of clarified, SALTY lemon butter. These people have perfected the customer experience! We went on a Sunday after church and it was very crowded. The line moved... extra fast, the food got out fairly quick, and the food was delicious!!! In all honesty, if I could give it 10 stars I would. We have been waiting for them to open and last Friday we finally got a... chance to stop in and try them out. When I tell you we were blown away the taste, the flavors, the selection, the sauces, it wasamazing. A flavor explosion. The lady at the front register was so helpful in steering us into the right direction with it beingour first time there and all. We had our baby girl with us and the staff was so pleasant and they made sure we had everything weneeded. It was like being in a restaurant but you receive your food fast, lol. We have been really looking forward to trying dinner here. Did the mobile order. Husband's chicken tenders were great but my... "Magoo's Favorite" salad with grilled chicken left a lot to be desired. The menu says mixed greens but it was 100% arugula. Ilike a little bit of arugula but definitely expected something else in the mix. They serve only the best part of the chicken, the tenderloin of the breast, breaded or grilled. Absolutely delicious I selected... Magoos Favorite salad with chicken tenders on the side. The salad was wonderful fresh plenty of toppings including walunts,cranberry raisins with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. My husband had The 3 piece chicken tenders with fires he said both were best in town. Your choice of sauces to dip or have the tenders tossed with. Great atmosphere and service.
