Service: 1/1 - fast and... friendly Price: 1/1 - fair prices appetizers around $6 and entrees around $14 Food: 1/2 - Crab Rangoon had unusual seasoning andtexture. It was our anniversary, wanted to try something new. Not the restaurant's fault, it was too new for our taste buds. We had fried... calamari, wonton soup, Lad Nar, Ayuttaya Duck and Ayuttaya Grouper. First experience here. Nice clean establishment with friendly and attentive staff. We began with the combination appetizer which... was very good. The shrimp in a blanket was novel. I had a cup of Tom Kah veg. which was very good as well and not veryspicy. SHMBO had the Basil Eggplant special which she rated at 4.5 due to salt level too high. I had the Seafood Pineapple FriedRice which I rated at 3.5. The taste was good however I felt that the calamari was a bit rubbery and the shrimp had tails onplus the mussels in the 1/2 shell were buried in the rice. Overall a good solid 4 stars. Tried this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Ambience is great and the staff are friendly. But the place smelled of... flavors from food being cooked in the kitchen.I didn’t feel fully comfortable until the first 15 minutes after which I guess Igot used to the smell. Excellent meal. Best beef pad Thai I have had in FL. Tom Kha soup was delicious. Panang curry was full of fresh vegetables and... the perfect amount of spice. Chicken was tender and delicious. 5 stars for the food. 4 stars for the service. While the serverwas polite and came promptly to take our order, I had to get our silverware and napkins from the rolling station once the foodarrived as the server did not bring them nor check on us shortly afterward.
