I can?t speak highly enough about our experience with Big Lee?s! We had the food truck come to our company BBQ. Jasmine and Key... drove the truck and served the food right from their window. The food was out of this world good! All the great things you hearabout them are absolutely true! We drove an hour and half to try this food and for anyone who wants to try this bbq save yourself the drive and do not come. We... saw this place on Food Networks BBQ brawl, so you would expect this to be top notch. When we arrived they only had pulled porkavailable at 1pm on Saturday when they open at 11:30am. The pulled pork I had was cold and dry, I had it with no sauce. Good bbqshouldn?t need to have sauce on the side to make up for your lack of flavor. Saw Big Lee on Food Network BBQ Brawl and have been looking forward to trying it for months. Got it today and so disappointed.... The burnt ends were more like chopped brisket. Not the crispy end you expect. The beans tasted EXACTLY like Bush's baked beans.I would bet money the beans came from a can. The corn cakes were really good and well seasoned. Servings were small for theprices. Meat was okay, not great BBQ, fairly dry. Something you might expect from a chain BBQ place. I won't be going back andcertainly wouldn't recommend. Read more
