First timers here! We loved this place! The buttered croissants were brought out first and they were delicious, the iced tea was... probably the best we've had out here so that was nice too. The fried chicken that was with the ribs was amazing! The flavor ofthe chicken batter was so good, not greasy and the chicken was juicy inside and the ribs were very tender! Our server was verygood and we had no issues with timing of anything. Both of our dishes were extremely good and fresh. We will definitely comeback! Homemade fresh food and great service! Love it! We had to wait about 1/2hr to be seated. When we got inside we got a really bubbly server. Don?t remember if it was Ann or... Lilian. She was about to get us some bread when I think her manager came and said we will have a new server as she wasn?tassigned to us anymore (we thought she was leaving for the evening). Now our new server came and got our drink orders. She thenbrought us some croissant. We sat for over an hour and all we got was an appetizer that someone at the table had ordered and aside salad that came with one of the meals. We saw many customers come in after we were there and they ate and left. When wewere about to pay the bill of what we had and leave another server came and asked if we wanted another drink. We explained whatwas going on. He said he would find out, he never came back. Shortly after the manager came and asked if we were waiting for aburger. We told him we would pay for what we had and leave. He apologized and said he would take care of the bill. So to behonest I can?t give an honest review of the food as we didn?t have much to go by. The food was great! A great waiter. The service was quick, the prices were wonderful. The only mark against them, I paid at the... table with my debit card. Thank goodness I printed out my receipt, because as we're walking out the door into the parking lotthe server ran after us and ask us if we had cashed out and I said of course and he said the system had flagged me as notpaying. He asked if I had my receipt and I showed it to him which clearly showed paid in full with a nice tip and he said he wassorry and he wasn't sure why the system said not paid but it was rather embarrassing having six other couples watching. I meanthe server was nice I'm just not sure why the system wouldn't show I paid. Update, returned today. The food was fabulous theprices are great. The servers are wonderful. We will definitely return again. I wish it was in the town we live in but wedefinitely make a point of eating here whenever we come to Ocala. Make sure you get the croissants, they will bring some to yourtable when you sit down but we always order extra. They are fantastic! They are warm and melt in your mouth. They are betterthan a hot Krispy Kreme glazed donut. Read more

Honestly, it?s been over two years since we?ve visited. We?ve not had the best food here in the past. We wanted to give it... another try. Bit were we impressed. They definitely have made necessary changes and the quality has improved. Drinks were solid,never an issue, very tasty. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. Absolutely cooked perfect mid well and extremely juicy. My fiancéordered ribs and tenders. Delicious fall if the bone ribs and the breading in the the tenders was better than before. Greatexperience. Quick lunch on the road. Cheddar was a little farther off the road, but we got right in with no wait. Shared a shrimp and... chicken tender plate. It was delicious. Croissants were amazing as well. Service was good. Gas station next door with astop light. Great place to stop. Read more
