The name gives the impression this place is 5 star upscale restaurant. Well the service and staff are 5 star! This is more of a... local family type place with better than average prices and good food. The Gator Bites were tasty. The spread that comes withthe crackers was very tasty, especially with a few drops of the Crystal Hot Sauce. My wife enjoyed the clay chowder and friedOyster dinner. I had the fried shrimp. We had the seafood sampler for 2. It was one of the best seafood meals we've had in our Florida travels the past 2 weeks. Big... oysters & scallops that you could actually taste meat & not just batter! Hush puppies, slaw & cheese grits were good too. Okra& baked potato so-so. Had the conch fritters for an appetizer & they were delicious! Staff were very friendly. Food was horrible I?m not a fish eater so I got a cheeseburger and hush puppies. The hush puppies tasted like fish. You can tell... that the fried the hush puppies in the same grease they do the platters. My hamburger was burnt. It was dry. The bun was hard.The fries was soggy and got my son, macaroni and cheese and the macaroni and cheese had a weird taste to it.
