Dirty tables that sat dirty with food the whole time we were there. Food on floor. One server for whole restaurant. Waited to be... seated for over 20 minutes. Food was okay. Server was good considering she was running whole restaurant including cash. Whichwas gross cause she didn't have time to wash hand's in between that and Food handling.???? They should really have someonebesides server whom they pay $6 a hour to clean tables and handle cash. You see the truth is server is great just being giventoo much other to do for company. We went to Denny's pretty late. The diner was busy and full. There were 2 wait staff members, 2 cooks and 1 member bussing... tables. The wait staff was hosting, prepping, expediting food, finishing food, serving food, taking orders and settling checks.All with a pleasant and positive attitude. The 2 members cooking were hustling. They were cooking and sending food out at aconstant and demanding pace. The food was delicious and any delay due to the short staff was more than understandable. The staffmembers were respectful and considerate of their customers. They were all working hard to provide the best experience to alltheir customers. Showed up and they had a sign on the door that said they were closing at 10:30. It was 10:15 and we were just trying to order... something to go. They refused to serve us saying they were closed. I understand closing early but if you are not willing toserve people until the time you have posted then don?t post that time. I?ve been a cook and a waitress and have always servedpeople until the time we close. They wouldn?t serve us because ?well we need to clean and get ready to close.? Again Iunderstand that but in my experience you clean and close after you have stopped serving which should be the time that you haveposted online or have made signs on the door saying a specific time. I had a wonderful supper there. My waitress was outstanding and a delight. She was fast, friendly and kept my tea glass full.... The burger was Amazing and Huge. If ever in Ocala, I will return. Read more
