Haeorum Korean BBQ rose above and beyond my expectations for GOOD happy food, it was an explosion of flavor, our dumplings were... amazing, they pair perfectly with the dipping sauce, my shrimp wrap was full of flavor & very filling; my husband had the HotBob, he was equally satisfied. There is a very small area to sit and eat your delicious Korean food or you can have take out;either way Sophie welcomes you with a smile to brighten anyone's day.. Took my wife to Haeorum to grab lunch after reading the newspaper story about this eatery. It is inside a gas station! I?ve... passed it many times but didn?t realize it was right there at 3045 S.E. 3rd Ave., ? think 475, just south of SW 32nd Street ? inOcala. It?s Korean food. Very nice folks, who took our order quickly. My wife ordered Galbi Bob, which is a beef short ribsserving and wings that came with a spicy glaze. I ordered Hot Bob, which was a spicy pork dish with rice and vegetables andKorean Ramen, which had a good kick of spicy heat. We did the takeout, although they have tables. We arrived a few minutes after11 on a Saturday. Several minutes later, you could tell it was about get busy ? so much so, that they didn?t have take homemenus due to the popularity of the eatery. I highly recommend the bibimbap !!! It was the best out of any korean restaurants in the states. And dduckbokki was like old... fashioned style which i used to eat when i was little. I felt nostalgia after i had the foods. But kimchi fried rice was notthat good for me. It was quite peppery. And the workers were so kind and nice to us. I would definitely go there again. Read more
this was my first time dining here and trying korean food in general and it was incredible! the food was hot, flavorful, and... hugely portioned, the staff were sweet and attentive and the prices were reasonable. i came here to catch up with a friend andwe both spent 60% of our time gushing over how good the food was. this is ocala?s best kept gem and i will for sure bereturning!
