*Updated review8/7/2022* My husband and I have been coming for a long time since my first review(2018) and I feel like it’s... time for an update. I am still in love with this place as a restaurant and it’s been one of the few places that has stayedconsistent even after the pandemic. We come for both brunch/ dinner a few times a year and have had either Charles or David forour servers and both make sure to make it a special visit each time. This weekend was amazing with both servers because I wascelebrating my birthday (the only place in Ocala I wanted to go to eat) and on both visits our servers were very accommodatingand made each experience momentous. The food is always both outstanding and consistently delicious hence why I try to come hereat least a few times a year to celebrate milestones. I highly recommend coming here even outside of google reviews to anyonethat asks. There is something for everyone flavor wise. I always try a new dish every visit and have yet to be disappointed.This is the best kept secret in Ocala. *review from 2018* Came in here last Sunday for brunch and had a great time. I loved thedecor and the music they were playing was great. For something that’s upscale for the Ocala area it was a surprisingly relaxedfeel for brunch (dinner might be different). I had a cappuccino, Eggs Meurette but I replaced the potatoes for a side salad.While the salad was great I did see the potatoes at the table next to us and they looked amazing. One of the best restaurants in Ocala for a nice evening out with incredible ambience and excellent food! The owners are true... Parisians that bring French cuisine at an affordable price to Ocala. The Duck L’orange was exceptional as was the side pastawith Bechamel!!! This time of year sitting outside on the patio is wonderful and relaxing…you can almost close your eyes andfeel like your in a region of France, especially with the music selections that flow throughout the restaurant and patio. A very consistent staple in downtown Ocala. Brunch at La Cuisine is uncontested the best experience around. Unlimited mimosas... for two house for only $15. They always have specials that are creative and delicious. Today I had a chorizo, poblano pepper,queso frescos, corn relish omelet topped with crème fraîche. We also tried the other special which was a fruit and yogurtparfait with fresh salad. Yogurt was on the tart side not sweet for those wanted to try it. Others in our party had twovariations of their French toast. One with berries and the other with caramel and marscapone. We had pork belly for andappetizer fresh baguettes and butter. My fiancé had the eggs Benedict with pork belly and spinach. They provided acomplimentary chocolate mousse for her birthday they was extremely fluffy and delicious. This place is truly wonderful! They staff is very professional and polite and the food is delicious. It was my first time trying... frog legs and I was impressed, they tasted really good especially with lemon garlic sauce. I also ordered pork with gratinpotatoes and the flavor was just amazing. I was so pleased with my experience at La Cuisine. The owner was very nice, very gracious. The bartender was excellent; truly he... was a mixologist and so well versed in his craft. The waiter was very attentive and the food was outstanding. What a gem of aplace!!! The bar is beautiful. The small hidden rat from Ratatouille was fun to find.
