Our first time getting food from here. We got the Manhattan subs for lunch and they were large size sandwiches made with fresh... and quality ingredients. Absolutely delicious!!!!! I just went to Mahattan Gyros &Subs got some chicken gizzards and there tough seasoning good but gizzards are tough couldn?t... even enjoy them so I won?t be purchasing them again. Just wasted my $20.35 on them Read more
There's nothing better than a good Gyro, and this place has one that is pretty damn good! It was hot and flavorful, and for a... little over $10 for meal which was the Gyro, fries, and a drink you can't beat it. The Gyro is filling, so you better comehungry. I chose the lamb, but there is also beef and chicken. The fries were hot and crispy, but I did not care for theseasoning all that much. Next time, if there is one, I will ask for no seasoning on the fries, just salt. The menu has justabout anything you can think out, so there is something on the menu for pretty much anyone. Oh one more thing... no freerefills on drinks. That annoyed but me but at least the woman behind the counter let me know. It's also on the sign and on thecounter... I was blind and did not see it initially. One more thing... the place isn't a classy joint at all but do give it atry. Limited parking at the front, but drive around the building and there are more parking spaces. Read more
1st and last visit very disappointed ordered a gyro with fries. THIS IS NOT A TRUE GREEK GYRO....a true Greek gyro is 100% lamb... or pork only. what I got was a cheap blend of lamb/beef/pork it is a cheap solution to true 100% lamb or pork and is oily.adding insult to my meal...it was 95% salad in a pita bread hardly any meat and hardly any tzatziki sauce (not even close totasting good, learn how to make it before serving it). You can go to any so called Greek restaurants and get this same cheaptasting meal, save your money and gas. Just look at photos. Read more
The people are kind and ready to make sure your order is hot, correct, and hot when you take your first bite. It has been my... favorite since I first tried it and today my husband had the lamb gyro which was both of our first taste of lamb and it wasdelicious. I've never had a meat that tasted this way and I enjoyed it along with him. My toddler had some as well and keptreaching for more. Aside from our experiences the lettuce is always fresh and crisp and the tomatoes are almost always freshlycut along with the red or yellow onions on some of the menu items. Seasoned food may not be everyone's pallet but it is in mywheelhouse so my family enjoys it and I suggest for the people that think it is too much spices to ask for no salt or seasonedsalt on their order to keep the peace haha. Haven't been here in several years and my son was wanting a Gyro so I thought about it and remembered Manhattan, still amazing.... We like the seasoned fries too. Need to try some of the other things on the huge menu. Read more
This place is a hidden gem for sure. It's a hole in the wall but the food is very good. I have tried a few different things, but... I LOVE the lemon pepper wings and the gyro. I never like lemon pepper but when I come home I have to stop through.The lemonadeis great too. The Philly is good, the sandwiches are too. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars is they really need to upgrade thebuilding (maybe after the epidemic).
