10 Stars. We highly recommend this restaurant. From our first contact and venue coordinator, Julian who remained constant in... every aspect of this 80th. Surprise Birthday never let us down.. He suggested, advised ,coordinated and followed through untilwe left the dinner. Our professional servers Kelly and Chrissy were amazing. CONS: We were pretty excited to try this place out...what a let down. We felt like maybe our waitress didn't want us as a table?... She hardly came to us, and left us for long stretches. After we ordered, we heard the table next to us(a different waitress) getoffered a special appetizer. We would have loved to order that. AND they were offered Swordfish and a duck special, that wewould have also ordered if we had known about it. Plus, she asked us if we wanted her to bring more bread, and we said sure. Shenever came back again until we received our dinners, with no bread. She left us for so long between stretches, that I gave hermy credit card before any mention of the bill, because we didn't want to have to wait for fifteen minutes for her to bring thebill to the table. It was still quit a long wait. PROS: What we ordered was pretty good. My husband got the short ribs, which were a littlefatty, but tasted very good. I ordered the Sorrentino veal, which tasted great. I cannot say enough good things about Mesa De Notte! They catered my wedding. First of all they were the consummate of... professionalism. Julian was very responsive to my initial request for quote and was available to meet right away. He followed upright and we signed a contract. The day before the event we met at the venue, which Julian requested. He brought the staffwith him to introduce to us and go over the details. The food was outstanding and all the guests were completely satisfied andremarked that the food was delicious! Even though it was a buffet, the food was kept hot! The servers were completelyprofessional and were very accommodating! Very, very satisfied! If you gave an upcoming event, it would be in your bestinterest to meet with Julian right away! I will plan future events/family parties only with Mesa De Notte! P.S. The cannoliswere outstanding! I wasn’t able to snap pictures of the food but it was a beautiful presentation! Read more
This was a fantastic place to eat. The food was so yummy good delicious. Great service Stephanie was a sweetheart. Very helpful... and it was the first place that my friend and I went to that they actually pick the right wine with the food and we didn't haveto go through several other different kinds in order to find the right one.
