I am all about Sonny's BBQ I have been eating there since I was a child but they recently at this location on 484 and 75... replaced cornbread with cake mix with little pieces of corn in it! I'm not a fan of the new change they made to a southerntradition I would give five stars in any other case because their food is always and always will be amazing. Baby back ribs areon point baked beans and corn nuggets are still amazing. But please for the love of God, stop trying to change a southerntradition. Read more
We went to the Sonny's BBQ next to i-75 on 484 and the service was wonderful and friendly, and most importantly attended for we... never had to wait for reorders. The ribs were tender and delicious as was the brisket. The french fries were cooked toperfection. And then there's that sweet tea.... Read more
The cook has been lacking. I have ordered 3 times from this restaurant. The first time I ordered was through the drive-thru.... When I tell you that food was sooo smackin’ good. Everything was tender, and fresh. The last two times I placed call in ordersand received the worst food an establishment can ever serve out. The ribs taste as if they’ve been sitting out all day or evenfrom the day prior. They’re dry, hard, crusty, and contains no edible meat… very burnt. I didn’t come here to eat onlysides. I ordered a third time because I assumed maybe I got a bad cook that day. Well, now, I don’t know if it’s thedrive-thru that gets the fresh orders or the cook, but this is not okay. I can’t keep receiving ribs that are hard and containno edible meat and dry cornbread. Please do better on the call in orders or on the food in general. UPDATE: Originally I had 2 starts I showed the sandwich to the waitress and asked for some brisket. In stead if just giving me... some brisket u was giving a whole new sandwich. it was DELICIOUS. THANK YOU! Food had a nice flavor, but I do not recommend thebrisket grilled cheese. Not much meat. It also says queso but it is just American cheese. Good customer service. Large glass of sweet tea with free refills. I had the redneck egg rolls & pork 3 ways. Two sides were... green beans & corn on the cob. Green beans were nicely seasoned & still bright green. My favorite were the egg rolls, ribs &brisket. Thank you Sonny's ???? Read more
