Burger missing garlic sauce, pickles and onions. Burger patties were small. I asked for a refund. The Manger refused. They would... remake it but no refunds. I didn't want them to remake it, I had already decided to go somewhere else. I asked for a corporatecontact and number. She refused to give me any information. No more servers? and the workers do not make rounds around the store to check if it?s clean. They have kiosks now they they... don?t even keep clean? snot, fingerprints and other substances were found on it too. It was disgustingly unkempt and thebathrooms were even worse!!! Andi was one of the sweetest fast food workers I?ve ever met. Even at 9pm at night she was a sweetheart from taking my order and... apologizing for the wait (there wasn?t really even one) I know this specific Steak ?n Shake is busy since it?s off theinterstate. We have eaten here twice in the past two months and both times, we really enjoyed it. The dining area could have been cleaner,... not that it was dirty, but it could have and should have been cleaner, just for comfort. The staff wasn't rude to us, but theycould have been friendlier. We really liked the food, and it was very reasonably priced. Our meal came with a Flurry for only$2.48 more. we walked out very satisfied for $18. Read more
This location used to be great. We came in earlier this week and found all ordering was done at a kiosk on a computer. We like... menus where we can see everything at one time to decide what we want. Didn?t even know where hot dogs were. No indication. Youwon?t have long waits here because people won?t like ordering this way. Can you imagine a lunch crowd waiting to order fromonly four machines? The day we were there was at 11:30 and there were only about 8 people there, if that. Parking lot wasalmost bare. (Should have been a clue to us.). Used to be almost full. How very sad the current state of steak n shake. Long gone are the lines out the door, the friendly servers in fancy hats, even... condiments on the table and the push to get speciality milkshakes. Now there's just faceless kiosks, self serve fountain drinksand no kids menus with hats and cars to build. You order at a screen and wait to be called. You're given cheap plastic baskets.You find a seat in the mostly dead empty space full of dirty floors and plain empty tables. The food is still cooked in sightbut in much smaller portions and much less quality. Zero options for special steak burgers or melts, only basics are offerednow.
