Visiting OC, this past weekend, and decided to check this place out. We got Crushes (Grapefruit and Key Lime), Spinach and Crab... dip, Oysters, Chesapeake Chicken (forgot the crab meat, but credited the check), and Seafood Pasta (with linguine). The food wasgreat. The waitress was very polite and friendly...she shared she is the owner's daughter who came out of retirement to helpout. There was a live band playing...music was pretty good. Service started out good since restaurant was empty when we arrived. Slowed down later on. Food was mostly good. Seafood... platter was okay but crab cake had filler. The 2 scallops and 3 small shrimp tasted good. My dining partner got the giantburrito and liked it but just ate the meat inside and left the rice. The thing that got me was when the bill came there weretwo totals. One for cash and one for credit that was more money. First time I ever saw that. Charging for the credit card ata restaurant? Really good food with an upbeat atmosphere. The jambalaya was out of this world and the Chicken Chesapeake had so much crab.
