Really good food with an upbeat atmosphere. The jambalaya was out of this world and the Chicken Chesapeake had so much crab.

Visiting OC, this past weekend, and decided to check this place out. We got Crushes (Grapefruit and Key Lime), Spinach and Crab... dip, Oysters, Chesapeake Chicken (forgot the crab meat, but credited the check), and Seafood Pasta (with linguine). The food wasgreat. The waitress was very polite and friendly...she shared she is the owner's daughter who came out of retirement to helpout. There was a live band playing...music was pretty good. Service started out good since restaurant was empty when we arrived. Slowed down later on. Food was mostly good. Seafood... platter was okay but crab cake had filler. The 2 scallops and 3 small shrimp tasted good. My dining partner got the giantburrito and liked it but just ate the meat inside and left the rice. The thing that got me was when the bill came there weretwo totals. One for cash and one for credit that was more money. First time I ever saw that. Charging for the credit card ata restaurant? Drinks were REALLY good, crawfish were just ok I wouldn't reccomend them and no music on the outside. Wait staff was really... nice!!!! Bathroom did smell like mold but was very clean. Update from Owners Response: We did ask the wait staff to turn on themusic outside and they said they could not because the speakers outside did not work. It was an absolutely gorgeous day thispast sunday (5/22/22) as you may see the sun on my left leg and on the menu on the right. We ended up using our phone for musicwhile we were there. Read more
