4/5! Came here for dinner with a bunch of friends and the overall experience pretty good. I've been here a couple of times... before for food and drinks and haven't has any issues so far. They are open pretty late as well, for any late diners. The Food:I went with the Freddie's Bay Pasta as my entree. The Pasta was good, the crab and shrimp was tasty and the garlic pasta saucewas delicious as well. There could've been a little more crab in the pasta, but there were plenty of shrimp on there. I willnote, the prices are pretty inflated for what the food is, so that's the only downside of the food so far. The Service: Thestaff were amazing. The waitress we had was very easy and accommodating to our group. The food was brought out in a timelymanner as well. Overall, a 4/5. A good spot for dinner. Not overly amazing, but good enough for a bite. Read more

When we first walked in we were happy by the ambience. There were statues of pirates, a fake pirate's chest, a t-shirt shop... which looked like it was on an island cove and more. We asked to be seated outside and it was a 30 minute wait which was cool, because this gave us a chance to take in all that the front of the restaurant had to offer. We were seated outside. And thatis where everything seemed to keep going downhill. Our waiter was amazing, however not even his great attitude and servicecould make up for everything that was to follow. First we were giving menus. On the first page of my daughter's menu was apiece of green onion which mean they did not do a great job of wiping the menu down after each guest. This is alwaysunacceptable and definitely unacceptable when the restaurant did not seem to be busy. Outside there were only two other partiesof three. They gave us water in our own individual pictures of water. I thought was cute until I turned mine around and therewas a piece of green onion on it. I was beginning to think maybe this was the theme. lol. The server was embarrassed andbrought me another picture. We ordered the crab dip. It was decent. I've definitely had much better. My daughter and Iordered the Pineapple Rum Crush, which was pretty good. It came in the cutest pineapple cup that we were able to take home withus. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. When it came I opened up my utensils and my fork was bent. By this point Iwas ready to press restart like in a game. I was given a new fork. I began to eat my salad and someone was definitely heavyhanded on the salt. My daughter ordered a pasta dish. By this time I checked out on what everyone else ordered and was in afunk. My BFF reminded me that she ordered the Black Beards Burger. It was plated beautifully. She said it was ok. Itypically give restaurants a second chance. I do not think that will be the case with this restaurant. We were all ver Read more

Great atmosphere and good food. The fishbowl drinks are worth it if you want a strong drink. Pasta was decent but the Chesapeake... Burger was the standout. The crab dip on top was amazing Read more

I really love the food and atmosphere here. I?ve brought the family for dinner every time we?ve visited OC. You need to try the... chowder and the crab dip appetizer. So good. A note on kids meals- my kids pretty much only order Mac and cheese, and the Macand cheese they serve kids seems like it?s just Kraft Mac and cheese. Which is good, because they actually eat it, but alsofeels like a bit of a rip off for the cost of a kids meal. That being said, great place, great food. Even with 4 kids inflatingthe bill; we will be back next time we?re in town. Read more

Arrived at opening for lunch with no waiting, we were seated right away. Service was ok and food was ok with nothing over the... top. There is an outdoor playground and lots of tv's throughout the restaurant. Priced around where a beach restaurant would be.Pirate themed with an ok selection of food. If there was no playground it's at best a 3 star. Read more

We had a large group which was probably why it took too long for our food. The portions were small and very expensive. The... waitress barely came over to see us and The food was soagie and not very appetizing except the soup which was good. When weasked for the waitress to separate the check she didn't and gave us a large check for 11 people 4 which were kids. Read more

Long wait. Over an hour. My first choice for an entree was not available. The server came back and asked for my alternate menu... choice. Got a crab and shrimp wrap which was still good. Pasta salad was yummy too. Orange crushes were excellent. Extremelylong wait at the bar while waiting for our table. Cute decorations and ambiance. Read more

Dead Freddies is a name known up and down Coastal Hwy, and a must visit when you?re in town. The accommodations they offer work... for all walks of life, whether you?re a family with kids of any age, a couple looking for drinks, or young single and ready tomingle. The staff is always beyond friendly, helpful, polite, and obliging. We were lucky enough to work with Demarco this time, and he took care of us. One of his best tips was when my son (3yo) wanted a shark attack, he took the time to explain how thedrink is set up so he didn?t make a mess with the grenadine. My go to meal every time is the blackened tuna steak, served overthe can?t miss wasabi mashed potatoes. Do yourself a favor, and make sure to put Dead Feddie?s on your must go list, no matterwhat brought you to OCMD in the first place. Read more
