As i sat at the counter i saw sushi pile up on the end uncovered for a long time. Two persons one adult another about 14 came... in looking for their order and went to that end if the counter leaning over, coughing and inquiring about their order to theguys behind the sushi bar while over top the uncovered sushi. They were directed elsewhere but the damage is done, cough sprayover uncovered food. While their sushi normally good, the uncovered food being exposed like this will turn me away from now on. We looked at a few different places for sushi and chose Nori. Definitely glad we did!!!! We've had sushi at different places... when they say tuna or salmon roll, it's ground up tuna or salmon and tastes like it's out of a can. (We call them, "mushrolls"). Absolutely not the case here. From the welcoming staff when you first walk in, the quaintness of the atmosphere, theserver being soooo polite, friendly, and attentive and last but certainly not least, the AMAZING sushi. I would consider myselfa foodie and let me say, this place, if you want quality rolls and service, is an ABSOLUTE MUST try!!!!! Read more
i eat at nori all the time and love it! whoever left the review saying the sushi is ?flavorless? must?ve had covid because the... food is anything but that! i will definitely return again and again. try the nachos, tsunami, and the vegas. you won?t bedisappointed!! Read more
I'm going to start by saying, maybe tonight was an off night for this place. Previous reviews looked promising, but sadly this... place didn't live up to its hype. I'm a big sushi lover and have eaten the full spectrum of bad to excellent and sadly I have torate this place as blah/2 stars. The portions/cuts were very small and the price was higher than what I pay in DC! The sushi waspretty flavorless. I will give props to the idea of the combinations of the rolls. Good sushi. Nice and fresh. My plate was missing wasabi and ginger so I waited ten minutes for the waitress to return before... eating and the rest of my group was almost done. Then we waited over ten minutes for the check to be returned after getting ourdessert to go. We were in a hurry to make an appointment and those two things delayed us enough to be late. Read more
Whelp... it earned 2 stars cuz sushi weren?t bad except dynamite ? tasteless, formless and overall terribly prepared! I went to... pick up for a friend... and wasn?t amused with a service! As I walked in there wasn?t anyone at the bar or at the hostessstation. The tall bearded guy behind the counter rolled his eyes and asked me why am I here... no hello ???? basic communicationand customer service skills. He said that order was not ready. I went outside to wait... mind you order was placed at 5:20, Iwalked in the restaurant at 5:52 thinking that it?s ready... but it wasn?t which I was okay with. I waited outside... 10min Iwent back... bartender girl didn?t even looked or acknowledged the fact that someone is waiting for the service standingliterally next to the bar until I said excuse me and ask her question, she told me that my order being prepared... As I wastalking to her I noticed that 2 containers were standing on the counter across the bar ???? waiting to be packed... which isweird cuz I counted amount of ppl at the restaurant and it was 3-4 ppl at the bar and 2 tables in the wholerestaurant... Service is 0 stars... no wonder this place was empty who would wanna be served by ppl who can?t even say hellowhen u walk in! My order was wrapped sloppy! No soy sauce... sad! My wife and I love this type food so we went there for our anniversary. Their service is excellent, the food and drinks as... well. We requested they prepare some dishes based on our likes and wow! I thought the price was on point and we were thrilledwith the entire experience. Thanks Phil. Read more
