Placed an order on our first night here during the busy season. I know delivery takes awhile and it isn't really a big deal... because I knew this when I called. They gave us a delivery time of 80-90 minutes, no problem. It came earlier and I was pleased.The driver, was very nice! Very nice. The lady who took our order was nice as well. She explained the driver only carries 20's,she told us there was a delivery fee, no problem because I know gas is high and some people just don't tip. The customer servicewas great. We ordered the special with the stuffed crust pepperoni, and the one topping pizza. I think it was 24.99. We decidedto try the spicy pepperoni roll and we added a 2 liter of soda. The stuffed crust pizza and the pepperoni roll were not done. Itwas really doughy, the cheese pizza was good. I wasn't calling to complain, return the food, or get new food. The kids werehungry so the cheese pizza was gone in 5 minutes. In a time where money is tight, and gas is expensive this was a bargain. Iwish it would have been done because I do love poppa John's. But I just wanted to give a good review to our driver and the womanwho took our order. They did great. Read more
So these geniuses apparently cannot understand an order correctly, my 12 year old daughter is highly allergic to gluten and we... specified this a few times on the call?.. after spending 4 and a half hours in the emergency room with our child papa Johnscustomer service team could have cared less about the issue and while the store was still open no one answers the phone toexplain the issue we called the corporate number only to get a team clearly not based in the US and have them say sorry for theexperience can we fix the pizza? Most disgusting display of humanity that I have ever seen. Steer clear of this companyespecially in ocean city Maryland. Read more
On the Saturday night of June 25th the Ocean City location near 35th street was in utter shambles. The management rolled his... eyes as I waited silently for 100 plus minutes for a pick up order of only 2 medium 1 topping pizzas. They took my payment andI had to call an Uber for a friend because I was stuck dealing with the incompetence at Papa John's. The management wasshouting at the lobby full of people as if he was giving a public address. To paraphrase he wanted to be left alone. As far asI am concerned this place no longer exists. Read more
Absolutely terrible. I do not typically leave reviews but this one needed to be left. The guy was rude when we got in there and... we should have just not placed our order but we did anyways. He told us it would be 2 hours for delivery and it was within thattime frame. We understood because a lot of people vacation here. However we paid for extra sauces and didn?t get them after hewas rude at the restaurant and took 2 hours for one pizza which by the way was fully cooked either. When we tried to call afterabout a minute the phone went dead and it?s almost like they shut off their phones completely off. They were rude andunprofessional. Read more
Do not ever order from here, staff is rude and does not care about getting food to you in a timely manner. They caught an... attitude with me about the status of my order, they are over an hour late and they?re 4 mins down the street. Ridiculous. Read more
I ordered my pizza around 8 o?clock it?s now almost 11 o?clock and still have not gotten my order. I tried calling the store... over 20 times and they hung up on me every single time. If you see this review I would never order from this place. I would givethis zero stars if I could. Read more
Worst service ever. Ordered a pizza at 7:34 pm it is now 11:11 pm and still nothing. Drove all the way to the shop to pick the... order up myself and was told I couldn?t pick it up even though the order was ready and placed on a shelf for pick up. Came backto my hotel and still have yet to have my pizza delivered. Called the customer service number and have yet to be able to get intouch with someone in regards to a refund. We waited almost 2 hours. Called 3 times thr manager talked to me everytime. He is unprofessional and I don't believe he... understands what customer service is. He lied and told me the driver left with 3 orders and one was mine. Then the Door Dadhdriver texted me 20 min. Later and told me she just accepted the order. Now we were estimated 30-40 min for the pizza to bedelivered. 3 pizzas 90 dollars never again. This place is the worst!!! Read more
