I cannot say how much my family and I enjoyed our meal. The lobster risotto was amazing, and the fig goat cheesecake to die for!
This was the best place. Now poorly managed with absentee owners. Many empty tables (13)while waiting for reservations. 3... couples out the door in just the past ten minutes. They need Karen(former owner) to oversee. I was a regular and now Iremember why it?s been a while. Rachel, in response to your responding, i?m sorry I must disagree. It seemed like a slowerthan normal Labor Day weekend. When entering your restaurant and seeing 13 tables available, we assumed we would be able to sit.You offered us two seats at the bar one being obstructed and the other two were being held for your employees birthday. Youremployee told us these tables had been open for an hour. You suggested we wait for a reservation to possibly not show. Afterwaiting 30 minutes and still seeing half the tables still available we approached your desk to let you know we were in thelounge. This was my first time dining at Sellos, I wouldn?t say disappointed persay, in fact it was a fun night, the bartender who... served us was awesome and that right there made me love this place! I had made a reservation for my husband and I but I didn?tknow you could order the full menu at the bar so that was a plus, I met some really nice people, another plus! My only complaintwas with my pasta, my husbands lasagna was delicious but I had expectations and it just didn?t satisfy me with my meal. Will Igo back? Absolutely! We all have bad nights and I?m not going to base a poor review where I?ve been a server as well. Sellos was an amazing place to have my birthday dinner and they were very accommodating to my party of 17 people. Great place to eat and awesome atmosphere, I am in the restaurant and hospitality business for years, when I was on vacation... with my family down Ocean City, I conducted my research for a good place to eat, knowing that most of the places are seasonaloperating, and they don?t pay much attention to food quality. I found Sello?s restaurant and man since I walked into their doorsI felt the positive energy and the enthusiasm. Sello's is a gem in the local collection of "italian" restaurants. Of the several meals my wife and I have tried, all have been... excellent. The pizza was excellent; handmade and baked in a wood fired brick oven. The pasta; with pesto or vodka sauce andprosciutto was fine and delicious. The bread is just like it was in Italy.
