The service here was wonderful. We're definitely going back for pizza! The pizza here is soooo good but be warned, this place... is BYOK (bring your own ketchup)... they said it's because they don't serve fries but they have burgers so we found the lack ofketchup or American cheese odd. This is not your typical pizza shop, it had more of a gastro pub vibe. If you are a cheesesteakconnoisseur, do not order one here unless you're a non-traditionalist - it isn't chopped steak, it is a square meat patty, whichis placed haphazardly on a roll which is seemingly half the size that it should be. But it didn't taste bad, it was justdifferent. The zucchini appetizer was so good - I'd venture to say some of the best I've had. Aside from being incrediblysmall, I thought the smoked teriyaki wings were incredible but my husband disagreed because he didn't like the char flavor. Normally, I'd never order Seafood scampi from a place with pizza in the name (managing expectations) but after seeing thevariety on their menu, I did - the flavor was great but the shrimp was overcooked. Absolutely delicious!!! The most authentic pizza I've had in a while. Being gluten free and vegan, it's hard to find options,... let alone tasty ones. Our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating, as I was able to get a gluten free crust and nocheese to meet my needs. It doesn't look like much from the outside of the strip mall, but it's like you're in a different placeas soon as you walk in. Will absolutely be returning! Read more
The food at Squarz is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I loved the Salmon... Special. My daughters ate the Veggie, Margherita, and Buffalo Chicken Pizzas. They thought it was the best pizza in the OC. Iagree. We love the pizza here! It is very different and absolutely delicious! It is true that it?s hard to get take out and we usually... have to go there and have a drink at the bar while waiting for our take out pizza. I don?t think there is more than two peoplein the kitchen and I?m guessing one is the owner. He always seems short staffed, but when we want that pizza we know we justhave to wait? and it?s worth waiting for!! Read more
Initially I want to say it was pricey for pizza. But after I realized it wasn't just a mom and pop pizza joint. Usually that's... what we get. So if you are comparing to more an Italian restaurant/sit down, it's more in line with that. Also the crust wasamazing! Read more
