Stopped in to Blue Cactus while we were down on vacation. It was the smell wafting out to the boardwalk that drew us in! Grabbed... tacos all around and the carnitas are the way to go for sure. The ground beef didn?t have too much flavor but the kids liked itanyway. The chicken had decent flavor as well and we didn?t get to try the steak this time. Do not eat here unless you want to be let down. Well I was excited about having some tacos. Ultimately I was let down. There was... a tremendous wait. ~30 minutes or more just to order! I had to then wait another 20-ish minutes to get my food. They are alsovery expensive. $30+ for ONLY 6 tacos with barely any meat let alone stuffing in the taco. The corn soft shells were alsorubbery. It actually felt like I was chewing rubber. To sum it up, do not eat here unless you want to be let down and robbed foryour money. Read more

My son and I decided to give this cool looking Taco joint a try tonight and man, we are so glad we did. First off, the place... has an open and cool vibe. Skating videos playing, awesome music, staff were super nice, and the most importantcomponent...AMAZING FOOD. We both got the 3 crunch wrap taco meal, my son had beef, and I got the veggie. They are NO JOKE...Icould barely finish mine it was so much goodness. The blend of flavors was spot on and not just your typical taco fare. Weleft satisfied, happy, and looking forward to the next time we are back in town to try the rest of the menu. It?s my first time down here in Ocean City, NJ and I?ve walked passed this restaurant few times. Finally stopped in & IT WAS... AMAZING !!!! Nice and clean business the lady at the counter was very helpful and polite and food came out hot and ready to eat.If your taste buds are strong try their sauces but I?ll warn you they aren?t for the weak!!! My wife and I landed on the boardwalk and both needed a little something to munch on that would hold us over until dinner that... evening. Blue Cactus was recommended to us by a shoppe owner a few doors down, so we gave it a try. The young lady taking ourorder started our experience off on the right foot as she was friendly, bubbly, and willing to answer all my questions. Wesettled on some chips and guacamole along with three tacos. We had a choice of meat but I went with an old faithful, beef. Thenafter a choice of meat, I had to chose the shell. Since I prefer a hard shell, I thought my choice would be easy. However, theyhave a corn or flour hard shell and I was informed that the flour was the more popular. I chose the flour and it was definitelya good choice. The guacamole was fresh and the chips came out warm with a little extra sprinkle of salt just like I like them.The taco also were good, (Meat, cheese and topped with some fresh salsa) Its nice to have fresh salsa in stead of jar like someother places use.
