Oct. 2022 I found out recently that Windmill provide the food and beverages to a group of special needs adults. They supplied... everything from salad to desert. I have a tremendous amount of respect to companies that have a large enough heart ?? to do this! There are companies that will not even give a bottle of water. I am making it a point to be a customer of Windmill and havetold my family and friends about there generosity. They will also become their customers. The food is better than other fastfoods. Especially, their hot dog's which they are known for. Let's support a company that gives back to the community,especially a special clientele. Well Dine WINDMILL ???????????????????????????? Every time I go it seems some worker always has an attitude. The older cashier lady was very nice buts that about it. All I... ordered was cheese fries and asked for them to be well done aka crispy. I get the fries and I can?t help but think the the cookintentionally gave me the most lightly fried French fries I had ever had. The fries were literally white, not even slightlygolden or crispy, let alone anything near well done like I asked. By time I got home they were so soggy and limp. And the worstpart is I even tipped them (before I got my food obviously) but this is the last straw, won?t be coming back. Read more
I don't like giving a 1 star but after last night I really feel it's necessary. We dined there in 2021 and the food was... delicious and the restaurant was very clean, hands down a 4+ star experience. July of 2022 not so much, the food was overcookedto the point of having very little flavor, the burger was beyond charred. The young girl on the grill has no idea how to preparefood. The fries seemed like they were pre cooked and heated up when we ordered. The dogs were overcooked and dry and the diningarea had dirty tables. Considering we were the only customers and there was three employees I find that unacceptable. Normally Iwouldn't waste my time writing this negative review, I just wouldn't go back, but I'm doing it in the hope that the owners willtake corrective action and turn it around before people start realizing that they are paying a pretty hefty price for some subpar food. Sorry but I hope this changes things, I would hate to see it close down because there aren't many places to get a gooddog and burger anymore. Read more
Visited this eatery for the first time yesterday and I wanted to try a hot dog and a hamburger along with a strawberry shake.... The hot dog was fine, after all, how can you mess up a hot dog. But the burger was a runny mess, they gave me a vanilla shakeinstead of my requested strawberry wich I excepted because the staff's inability to understand english well. Read more
A great fast food spot! I'd give it a 4.5/5. The Windmill burger was decent. The meat patty was well seasoned and the cheese... was tasty. The fries had a light crisp and a nice flavor. Real good! The chili cheese dog was amazing. The hotdog was long,flavorful, and had a light crisp. Each bite was bursting with flavor. Incredible! Other reviews would say negative things aboutservice, but our experience there has been very good. We were treated well and received our food in a timely manner. Read more
