First experience. Good things and items for improvement. Good things: I thought the fried oysters were solid. Service from our... waitress was great, she was attentive and did a nice job. Items for improvement: Initial cocktails were not great. Both ourcucumber mint mule and regular old fashioned were not made well. Way too much soda water in old fashioned. Grouper sat the inthe window and made the rice hard by the time it got to our table. Overall a little underwhelming for the price point, but itmay have been an off night. Would try again. Read more

At 6:00 p.m. on a weekday the restaurant was crowded but we were able to get a seat immediately at the bar. The bartender was... very nice and attentive. The restaurant seems very clean and maintained well. My whole family loved the dishes they chose. Myson got the chicken sandwich and it looked great. He ate every bite. I can't thank everyone enough for a wonderful evening! We had a large group of people - the rehearsal party for my son's... wedding. I was very nervous because they had just opened for the season & staffing was limited. The deck became much busier thanexpected for so early in the year, but everything turned out perfectly. Food was excellent! Beautiful setting on water, I’m giving only 3 stars because we arrived at 900pm place was packed, lots of... servers. Staff made it known that they close at 10p.. hesitant to seat us. We sat at bar… about 9 servers hanging at bar…practically had to beg to order.. food arrived at 930 and once food was placed in front of us the bartender (gentleman with longdreads) turned off all bar lights and put all alcohol away as seen in my last pick… btw every table was still seated behind usin dining area! So, so, good! Go as soon as possible! We went to Jinks Creek for dinner while on vacation in OIB in July 2021. It was FANTASTIC.... Highly recommend a visit. The food was amazing. We had a party of 9 hard to please eaters, and every single person said theirdinner and drinks were fabulous. And the service!!! Ernest was our waiter and he was great - attentive and helpful. Heabsolutely enhanced an already wonderful evening. We loved every minute of our visit to Jinks Creek and have already told ourfriends and family to go as soon as possible. A few recommendations - the wedge salad was so good. The candied bacon really madeit great. Two people who had the lobster bisque won't stop talking about it. Two of our group had the Philly and loved it.Others had the caprese chicken, shrimp and grits, and surf and turf - all excellent. For drinks we had the Jinks Juice, whichwas good but one of our group ordered the Lime and the Coconut which was much better! The Cheer Wine Old Fashioned was alsoreally good. We waited about an hour and 45 min for our table and it was well worth the wait but maybe try to get a reservationif you know you are going (we made a last minute decision, hence the wait). Drinks were a little watered down especially for the price and the band that was playing that night was not very good but food... was priced lower than I expected and our waitress was amazing. Atmosphere was incredible as well. We ate upstairs on the largeopen patio and had amazing views. Read more
