Cheerful, friendly spot. We were there for lunch. Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Drinks, order taken, and hot... food delivered quickly, in spite of signs warning that it could be slow (possibly for breakfast which seems to be their mainbusiness). My wife had a Turkey sandwich. She liked it. Looked great. Especially the sourdough bread, which is advertised ashomemade. I had a fish sandwich. The fish (halibut) was nothing special, but overall it was a tasty sandwich. Served with mychoice of onion rings, which were decent. Hot, crispy, and not greasy. The onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on both sandwicheswere fresh and way above average. Tomatoes actually tasted like tomatoes. Lots of windows and some local art/photography on thewalls. Clean bathrooms. Really a decent spot to consider if you don?t want another pizza or McLunch. We love this place. Some of the best food in ocean shores, for sure. My family and I went in on a Friday morning and it was... packed and busy but the waitress was super nice and attentive. I ordered the French toast breakfast and in no time our food wasout and it was delicious!! The homemade bread is killer. And the waitress was fantastic and funny, had us laughing when shewould come check on us. Highly recommend! Read more
I will start with the good. The food here was good, especially the bread?really great. Because the food was good I?ll give it... two stars. The rest of the experience was terrible. The staff was not friendly and while they are short staffed their approachwas to be rude and short instead of apologetic and explaining that they are short. We never got water and when we asked we gotattitude and then threw waters for 5 people. Several mistakes were made and food came out at different times. If they had beencool and explained that they are understaffed it would have been fine?but the people were rude. I will not return here despitethe fact that the food was good. Read more
07/16/22 Walked up to find a "Closed" sign on door, but since tables were packed I walked in. Was told they were very... backed-up, but if we wanted to wait, they'd take care of us. We chose to wait, and were glad we did. Unlike the other, morehighly rated, breakfast restaurants there was a place to sit while we waited. We were actually seated and our order taken veryshortly, and were given good fresh coffee while we waited to get our food. Wife had Pancake Combo w/Bacon & Toast: eggs cookedto order, pancakes very good, bacon good. Toast & berry jam were very good. I had French Toast Combo w/Bacon: same result aswife's, but the French Toast was "killer" with *really* good in-house made bread. My egg was a bit greasy [with butter?], butstill very good. Server and owner (?) were very pleasant, and service was excellent for how busy they were when we arrived. Theambiance is not as nice as others, but the food and service may well be better. Sadly my excellent looking French toast made with I believe to be home made bread was under cooked. The eggs were a bit oily. My... very good piece of ham, which was forgotten on my plate arrived soon after we noted the mistake. Read more

I haven?t completed a meal in a week. The berry Turkey sandwich was excellent. Just what I needed! Vern?s omelet was also great.
GREAT BREAKFAST! Nice relaxed atmosphere with excellent from scratch food! The pancakes have ears and are super light and... fluffy, while the toast is made from homemade bread they bake each morning. I appreciate things like warm syrup and real eggs inmy scramble so I will eat here as often as I can. The kids breakfast combo was plenty for my 7 year old. Thumbs WAY up! Read more
