Brunch & Lunch spot for the food lovers of the world l. This place screams awesome sauce from menu to ambiance to service! My... favorite was the blue berry pancakes and my mom devoured her banana fosters French toast like it was nobody?s business. SODELICIOUS. I also highly appreciated having a French press for the table and the fact Blue Dog Bistro serves Death Wish Coffeewhich has been my favorite for years and finally MS has a place it?s on the menu! Some family recommended we try this place out and we loved it! It was pretty quiet on the day we visited. The staff was super... friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! I highly recommend Blue Dog Bistro in Ocean Springs, MS. They serve breakfast until 3pm. They have a menu that accommodates most... diet restrictions including Vegan, Gluten Free, Paleo, and Keto. We had a long wait time but it was worth it! We were given the absolute best server. Her name was Liv Rose. She was friendly and... helpful. Her interaction with us was playful and we so enjoyed her personality! The food was phenomenal! We had the crab cakesBenedict and the spinach and mushroom frittata. What can I say that hasn't already been said? This place is great! We have been wanting to go check it out for quite some time,... and finally did it. Although, it may not have been the best weekend to venture into downtown Ocean Springs with the art festivalgoing on. Yeah, we forgot about that... crowds are not my thing. The wait for a table wasn't terribly long. We were told 30minutes, but it was more like 15 so, pleasant surprise there. Once inside, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, yet classy andclean! There were so many choices on the menu for breakfast it was hard to decide, but we both chose the steak and eggs with aglass of juice and a coffee. We enjoyed our coffee while waiting for our food and about the time we finished, our food arrived.It was delicious! Our server (I can't remember her name) was nice and friendly, knew what she was doing and did a great job! Iwant to go back and try some of the other menu selections, and will eventually. This restaurant is a little pricey for my modestincome, but a nice treat for the occasional splurge. Be prepared for $60-80 for breakfast for two. Read more
