Brunch & Lunch spot for the food lovers of the world l. This place screams awesome sauce from menu to ambiance to service! My... favorite was the blue berry pancakes and my mom devoured her banana fosters French toast like it was nobody?s business. SODELICIOUS. I also highly appreciated having a French press for the table and the fact Blue Dog Bistro serves Death Wish Coffeewhich has been my favorite for years and finally MS has a place it?s on the menu! Some family recommended we try this place out and we loved it! It was pretty quiet on the day we visited. The staff was super... friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! The nachos were on the small plates menu and were huge!! The shrimp and gritswere so delicious (and also huge)! I also enjoyed a nitro cold brew! Definitely worth a stop! Read more
I highly recommend Blue Dog Bistro in Ocean Springs, MS. They serve breakfast until 3pm. They have a menu that accommodates most... diet restrictions including Vegan, Gluten Free, Paleo, and Keto. The food and service is stellar. I particularly loved the HerbRoasted Heirloom Tomatoes. I eat them on top of the Cheese Grits like a gravy. It also has a lovely warm inviting atmosphere. Read more
We had a long wait time but it was worth it! We were given the absolute best server. Her name was Liv Rose. She was friendly and... helpful. Her interaction with us was playful and we so enjoyed her personality! The food was phenomenal! We had the crab cakesBenedict and the spinach and mushroom frittata. We were in town to visit friends and wanted the best breakfast around . Blue Dog Bistro is it. Hands down! Our family is picky.... My wife is a vegetarian. My daughter eats a limited menu. My son wants to start a food blog. We are hard to please. But let metell you that we will definitely be back. The cheese grits are some of the best we have eaten. The blueberry ricotta pancakesare amazing. My daughter (who doesn?t usually eat eggs) said the eggs were fabulous. The only downfall, in our opinion, was thepraline bacon. It just wasn?t our style and too sweet for our tastes. We don?t regret giving them a shot, and totally recommendyou do the same. Read more
Such a cute atmosphere. Perfect breakfast and lunch spot. Loved all the decor and plants. Really nice vibe! Service was great!... Our server was the bartender and he was very kind and knowledgeable. The Mrs. and I were looking for a breakfast spot with healthy options and excellent coffee? Stumbled upon this GEM in Ocean... Springs. They have ADDICTING EXPRESSO beverages and AMAZING FOOD. I had the Smoked Salmon with capers, and dill over a bagelwith cream cheese ????. The Mrs had the Vegan blue dog breakfast which, to my surprise, was DELICIOUS! They have healthy options?God Dog? and naughty delicious options ?Bad Dog?. Great staff, up beat brass music, and amazing decor. Highly recommended. Read more
What can I say that hasn't already been said? This place is great! We have been wanting to go check it out for quite some time,... and finally did it. Although, it may not have been the best weekend to venture into downtown Ocean Springs with the art festivalgoing on. Yeah, we forgot about that... crowds are not my thing. The wait for a table wasn't terribly long. We were told 30minutes, but it was more like 15 so, pleasant surprise there. Once inside, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, yet classy andclean! There were so many choices on the menu for breakfast it was hard to decide, but we both chose the steak and eggs with aglass of juice and a coffee. We enjoyed our coffee while waiting for our food and about the time we finished, our food arrived.It was delicious! Our server (I can't remember her name) was nice and friendly, knew what she was doing and did a great job! Iwant to go back and try some of the other menu selections, and will eventually. This restaurant is a little pricey for my modestincome, but a nice treat for the occasional splurge. Be prepared for $60-80 for breakfast for two. Read more
