I honestly and genuinely believe this is the best Waffle House on the coast. And I?ve been to 20+ different locations in... different states. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, whether it?s busy or slow. And the food is always good regardlessof seasoned or trainee cook. Well worth the stop. Read more
Food was great! Loved the service, was in and out
We've traveled to and from Florida and we've had amazing service at every waffle house except today. We went in at 7pm and left... at 9pm. There was only 1 table inside, already eating. The server, DANA, told us she was overwhelmed because someone called in.We were very understanding. We are 3 adults and 3 toddlers. Then a table of 2 came in and she asked if she could attend themfirst. We said of course no rush. DANA then takes their drinks and order. We thought she would get to us after, but then shedecides to wait until their food is ready. She finally serves them their food and finally comes to attend us. At this pointwe've waited 30-40mins already. We were still very understanding and waited patiently. DANA finally came back and took our drinkand meal order, but then she disappeared. We later see that she's outside smoking. We sat for another 30min waiting for ourdrinks that never came. Our food ended up coming out first and... Still no drinks. Then she forgot about the waffles and burnedthem. She remade them and burned them again, but this time she served them as is "Burned". By this point help has arrived andwe are still being patient with her. We didn't say anything about the burned waffles. And we still didn't have our drinks. Aftermore than 1hr we finally get our drinks. We were still missing 3 more waffles, but she ended up getting distracted attendinganother table. We had to remind Dana to please check the waffles before they burned yet again. Once she checked on them andserved them they were indeed burned. We again didn't say anything, but then as we were cutting up the waffles for our toddlerswe decided they indeed were too burned for our little ones. Dana never came back to check on us so we had to ask the cook if hecould replace all waffles please. We apologized for the inconvenience and he helpfully and happily got us new waffles without aproblem. He turned on the waffle timer and made us fresh waffles. I visit Waffle Houses so often that I take them for granted. The food always is fast, tasty, and filling. Staff members always... are courteous. This one in MS is typical. The cute little girl was the daughter of a waitress there. Read more
How do you serve food like this to people and then when I call you say you don?t have time for my call and then tell me you?re... going to call back and don?t!!! We spent $31.00 and you didn?t even offer a refund. I am contacting the Health department andyour corporate office. Raw bacon can make a person sick very quickly. You should be 100% ashamed of your cooks for putting foodout like this. I have eaten here before and you are the cleanest Waffle House I hope you can fix some issues you have. Read more
This Waffle House sits on a busy corner and has a lot of foot traffic. Despite that, the shop was VERY clean and everyone was... friendly and helpful. I ordered my usual chicken omelet and the manager offered to throw in another egg so it would be"prettier." More protein for me!
